He was turned down for this years supplemental draft, but there is a CBA clause that allows a player who is drafted and doesn't play football anywhere for a season to re-enter the draft the next year... it was the threat that some top overall picks used to force trades such as Elway in the past
Man I loved Porter's presser. If that doesn't get you amped, nothing will. Great depth in the room both at inside and now outside LB. Guys will be scratching and clawing to make the team and for PT. Same thing with the CB's. I absolutely love what we've done in this draft, added serious talent to this Defense!!!
He loves Chickillo said he will figure out if he likes right or left side, will definitely play OLB. Loves his motor and ability to get after QB. They won't have him in space covering guys, just rushing the passer...
Yes Porter mentioned that Miami used him one way, but they (Steelers) were projecting him playing a different style, as an edge rusher...weird, most of the scouting reports I see say he is no good at rushing the passer, but as a run stopper he is solid
Matius, K. White or any safety prospect will make me happy here...although McBride wouldn't surprise me either.
