Ten INT's last year. QB's had difficulty against him... in college. The pro game... with better QB's, bigger WR's and the back shoulder throw?

We'll see.
 
I can't feel good about this pick when other teams moved up to get potential picks "we" wanted. Just felt like a hasty pick since the Ravens jumped on front.
 
Frank Clark gets drafted in the second round. In front of Odighizuwa....maybe those hips aren't ok afterall...
 
I gotta tell you, the pre-draft "rankings" being put out by some so called pundits looks pretty bad (me included).

I should just continue to stick with film. I often get caught up trying to "fix" my board with all the rumors the last week.

It was a panic pick. The rats okie doked them and tombert **** the bed again.
 
Maybe Golson can teach Cortez how to get his around and find the ball. He is a ball hawk, but compared to the NFL WR's, he's going to look like a chicken hawk. Good luck SG, and welcome to the B&G.

Dri Archer and Golson the dinky duo. I think the kid is a reach and too small but hope he plays well. Sure wish we would have done OWA instead.

With Bellicheat knowing we have a new DC he will try to line em up to create mismatches. With this secondary as it is right now I'm not looking forward to opening night....Brady will have a field day vs this defense!

We had the choice between John Tait OT JevonKearse TheFreak DE/LB and we selected Troy Edwards......We had options in 99

56. Pittsburgh Steelers Senquez Golson, CB, Ole Miss

What He Brings: Playmaking and a possible conversion to playing in the slot (he wasn’t used there in 2014 at Ole Miss). The NFL is currently infatuated with the longer corners and Golson isn’t long and isn’t going to be a press type of guy. But he has a great change of direction and great instincts for the ball. Helped him to pick up the fourth highest coverage grade against Power-5 opposition of all cornerbacks who are draft eligible.

Where He Fits: The Steelers cornerback depth chart reads like an advert for them to pick a cornerback high. Golson will have every opportunity to get significant playing time.

What he brings: He's a much better run defender than you'd expect given his small stature, and is fearless in attacking ball carriers. His cover skills are excellent, with his explosiveness and quickness, but he can get exposed by bigger receivers at times.

How he fits: The Steelers fill another big need on defense with Golson. After notching just 11 interceptions last season, they needed to find a playmaker in the back end. Golson, who has excellent anticipation skills and production (9 INTs in 2014), will help upgrade them in that department.

How did they make us ******* by trading up for a guy the steelers were not going to draft?

The steelers card had already been turned in when the Ravens picked. If that card said Maxx Williams, it would not have been accepted. Ravens panicked and traded up.
 
But Edwards did break all of Rice's NCAA Records...
