McPhee signed with Da Bears
Giants are hard after Graham.
Tenn may want Worlds
Sheard is not much of a pass rushers, therefore not a fit for us
Orakpo??
Maybe we try and trade for Dion Jordan....who knows.

I've been saying Orakpo for months now. His price tag should be low since he's coming off a down year but he has the physical ability we need

I think people are going to be surprised to see how much Orakpo ends up signing for. He's just a year removed from being a premier pass rusher, and with the cap projected to expand, teams will be willing to take more risks in terms of guaranteed money.

Among the pass rushers available coming into free agency, I thought Orakpo was the one with the potential to help the Steelers out the most; however, the Steelers are not going to outbid anyone, especially for a high risk/high reward type free agent.

I would like to see them be more aggressive in player acquisition with the clock ticking on the Roethlisberger era, but that isn't going to happen.

We just need to resign ourselves to the likelihood that Lemon was their OLB signing.

Keep in mind that these guys can't sign anything yet, no signings before Tuesday so nothing's etched in stone. Teams can still negotiate.

Premier pass rusher? 10 sacks is premier? Guess Worilds is better than we thought...

Derick Morgan may sign with Carolina too. That leaves Orakpo, Graham, and Worlds. I bet Graham signs with Giants. That leaves Orakpo and Worlds for us.

Graham looking at Phins, Giants, Titans. Damn, Worlds and Orakpo may be our only chances. Trent Cole maybe? I heard he may sign with Stains though.

What the ****?

Lemon, Jarvis, and a rookie OLB. This is NOT looking good. Even if we get off our *** and sign Moats before he gets away, those 4 do not look very impressive.

Sheard and Schoolfield.....

Though the way the market is shaping up, Sheard might get closer to $6 million/season rather than my hope at $5 million. We'll see.

I still think Schoolfield would be a great, cheap depth signing. Better at OLB than Moats in my opinion. I liked Moats because he can play inside, but our depth at inside right now means that doesn't matter. With Spence, Williams and Gavin under contract, we have plenty of depth at ILB right now. Versatility isn't important. We need pass rushers and Schoolfield is just better at that than Moats.

We seem to be dragging our feet getting Ben extended, cuts and other extensions. Imagine the cap space we could have right now for potential signings? Hopefully the FO gets moving.

we never spend big on the first free agent wave...

Jerry Hughes to resign with Buffalo for $9mil/yr

Here we go Steelers here we go! Here we go Steelers here we go.

Seriously though we need to get off our ***** and get someone signed for OLB in a hurry. Watch it be Worilds.

I would've rather had Schoolfield and think he'd be in the same 3-year, $7.5 million range for Moats, but Tombert I guess liked how Moats fit in the locker room and feedback from the coaches on his performance (I certainly didn't see a whole bunch that wowed me).

Still hoping for Sheard at this point and think he's the only one left in any type of reasonable price range but we still have a ton of holes to fill with our available money and it's going to get tight around here money wise pretty quick.
