No leadership, no winning culture.

Ok, fine. We know ben can have games like this. We give him a pass because we know how well he CAN play.

Blaming coaches for this loss is ******* redikerous.

The reason is because he didn't play much in preseason because coaches ****** up. It was easy to find 2 QBs today who played well today with minimal preseason play. Took me checking one game. There are others.

I'm told Bell started slow last year because he skipped camp. Ben was in camp, why'd he start slow?

Its a combination of both for me. It has been more coaching than Ben over the years. Shutting down the offense did it for me. Tired of the BS.

With all the calls for bad coaching and Ben giving the ball away. We were still lined up to win the game and Boz yanked it.

It wasn't the rain
It wasn't the hold
It wasn't the snap
It wasn't the footing
It wasn't the wind
It wasn't the distance

He ******* yanked it.

The snap was a bit off, but Berry seemed to get it down OK. No excuses, but if Boz saw the high snap could have effected his timing a bit. That being said we should not need overtime to beat the Browns especially when up by 14 in the 4th. Just a sad implosion all around

With the way Ben was playing why wouldnt you shut down the offense? Why not put it on the guys who were talking all week. Im just as disappointed in them. Talked all week but when its crunch time opened no holes so we can put the game away

I'd rather loose guns blazing than letting the opposing defense get confident off of stuffing our very predictable playcalling. They could have put Dobbs in for two plays to run the wildcat. They could have tried a trick play. Any damn thing other than rolling over. They quit.

We were up 14 against the Browns with 7 minutes left, and you want to be aggressive? We did exactly what we should have done. Eat clock. The problem is that Conner, who was having a monster game, fumbled. It gave the Browns the ball deep in Steeler territory.

**** happens. Why do we need to find a scapegoat? After that, things just didn’t bounce our way. I’m not “terribly” disappointed. We played well enough to do , in spite of our errors. We still could/should have won. We didn’t. Sometimes the ball just isn’t going to bounce your way.

If you want a scapegoat, it’s be Ben, but no one wants to go there. Most would rather blame people who had nothing to do with the outcome (Tomlin).

If there is one place you can turn over the ball 6 times and still be playing for a chance to win, it has to be Cleveland.

Your level-headedness is impressive..

Except that Tomlin did play a PART in the outcome. Ignoring that fact is short sided and only focused on the outcome of the game. And doesn't shed light on the inactivity of Big Ben preseason bubble-wrap boy.

To play Ben more in the pre season you have to play the starting Oline more too. So not only are you exposing Ben you are exposing the starting Oline and WRs to injury.

So ******* what. New England doesn't live in their fears. And won their first game.

Play them until they are on the same page.

Yep it sounds good until disaster happens...then it will be Tomlin shouldnt of been playing the starters.

Disaster can happen ANY time. And majority would claim the season is over if it occured within the regular season.

If you want to have those byes you have to win enough to get them. If you are losing or tie gaming it early because of rust. You are handicapping yourself out of the gates.

So pick your poison.

Kickers are not looking at the snap, they are looking at the spot on the ground where the ball is coming, and Berry hit the mark, perfect angle, laces out. The miss is 100% Boz's fault. I know because I used to place hold in HS.

Boz was left on all his kicks. They should have tried to get a few more yards for him instead of just opting for a long kick. The kicking conditions were beyond sub-optimal.

We got a tie on the road in Cleveland. I am not ready to call this season over because of it but I will say the coaches need to focus hard on prep for the next game.

I hope part of that prep is explaining to Ben the meaning of the Jersey colors, i.e. throw to the people in this color jersey, not the other color jersey.

it's my fault.
I wore my Joe Greene jersey instead of the Ben jersey. I'll correct that this week and wear the Ben jersey on Sunday.

Is this a serious question?

Yes, and it's a good one, especially considering how poorly BR was playing,

A little history: Early in Kordell Stewart's career, Cowher would put him in at QB for a couple of snaps - or even a series - to change things up. It almost always worked, usually very well, and you could tell the players loved it.

It played a part in him being dubbed "Slash."

Boz pulled that one from the start, he didn't slip, he never gave it a chance, even from the right hash he still pulled it, ****** kick.
