again, on that sideline pass to brown... if that is any other receiver, they turn around a second earlier and the CB does have a play on the ball... though that's textbook how to play that pass for a wideout, it was a remarkable play by Brown, and a throw Vick would never make because the coverage was there... that's what makes Brown special... his ability to react at the last second and make those plays...
im sticking with Jones proved nothing in that game outside that the coaches are willing to use the whole playbook with him and not just run-run-pass.
he still has nothing that every 1st round flub Cleaveland drafted also had.
This game was sealed on Bryant making that run... and while that was a good pass, the run was 100% better....
Again, this happens all the time, a guy has a great debut game, his value skyrockets and teams trade them in the offseason for a 1st or 2nd rounder and they NEVER ever have the same success elsewhere...
I saw a meh game with him made better by great wideouts. Im not sold. we won, but I wouldn't want to see the guy start for more than a game because I think his flaws are fatal in the long run...
