Vegas is fast. They remind me of the 2016 Pens.

Fun game to watch. Vegas never panicked when they got behind. That's huge for a team like the Golden Knights. You'd think they would be nervous, tentative and gun shy, but they were on top of it. Their game wasn't perfect, but they are fast and opportunistic. Hopefully, MAF continues to make some big saves and keeps them in each game.
Well that was a lot of fun but bet we won't see another wide open game like that.
Both these teams have a way of rebounding from early series losses so it will be interesting to see how the Caps respond in game 2.

If every game of the series is like the first one, it is going to be a blast. I thought Vegas came out in control, creating turnovers and scoring chances. They scored that first goal, and kind of took their foot off the gas I thought. They got a little sloppy, and I thought they looked kinds gassed by the end of the first. Apparently not though, as they managed to put up 4 more goals. If they tighten up a bit defensively, Washington might have a real problem.
If the pattern consists, the Craps will continue to get physical with Vegas. That may eventually wear them down. Vegas is very fast, but they will have to find a way to slow them down. WASH are dirty shitbags and I can see them taking runs at guys like Perron, Karlsson and Reilly Smith. MAF might be next. Hopefully, Reeves is the equalizer for any of that dirty crap.
Unfortunately the Reaves line has been so good and productive I bet Vegas wont send him out on the ice to do any type of goonery that might result in a penalty or suspension.

And Wilson gets through another late hit without a discipline hearing. Dude is looking to hurt people. Reeves needs to kill him on the ice to stop his bullshit from hurting someone.
The league won't do anything to Wilson because it brings attention. They act like they want to protect players and stop fist fighting but that's bullshit. It will change either when Wilson permanently injures someone, or someone permanently injures him. I'm really hoping the latter happens first.
