They made him change the shoes each time.
Not for his Arnold shoes
They made him change the shoes each time.
Insanity has a point, and AB is exposing a loophole. His shoe color has to match the team's colors. White, Black, and Yellow. He's done that with his past 2 designs. That's apples to apples. I have heard players get fined for writing things on their cleats, that are the same color, so perhaps the loophole isn't that large, but it is a grey area that needs clarification.
Fines are one thing. Ejection is something totally different. .
What about the uniformity of standing for the national anthem?
What is your point? I pointed out to the poster that they were not kneeling because they didn't like to stand for the National Anthem.
Again. The poster stated that the players kneeling don't like to stand during the national anthem .....I told him that there was a reason they were kneeling. Again. I don't know what your reasoning for quoting my post is?I thought it was clear. They want to use their position as an athlete to bring attention to the problem? We're they doing that during the protests? Would people not know they were athletes? Nope. What were they doing all during presea son to bring attention to the problem. I never heard anything.
So, these guys can't think of better ways to bring attention to the problem? **** them. That is what I mean by, "I know why they SAY they are doing it". Doesn't mean I buy their BS.
Everyone here is saying they support the NFL uniformy policy. Uniform means the same. All their team mates are all standing for the anthem and these ********* want to set themselves apart. Yet, we are all supposed to gushave about how brave they are to take a stand and respect them for it. I dont.
They are setting themselves apart from their teammates. Isn't that what AB is doing with different shoes?

Just hope the NFL/Goodell , don't determine a big game for us, due to AB pushing the envelope this season.
I think all the pissed off players should get together and quit, just to show they are serious
ark steel;290207[B said:]I believe the reason you gave is what we are told is the reason[/B]. I believe it to be BS. Also, I hardly think the poster really meant "they don't like" to stand and, also knows why they say they do it..
If the insufferable **** support's them, I know I'm on the right side of things.
That works for me! Don't like the country get out.[/QUOTE]
I don't think this whole thing has anything about not liking our country. Some of you people are way off base on the issue I believe. And I just want to say that I do not support any player kneeling for the national anthem. I will also state though while I feel they could make a statement in differently I do respect their personal right to make this statement. That is what makes our country the best.
Ahhhh. Well you would be wrong then.
What is your point? I pointed out to the poster that they were not kneeling because they didn't like to stand for the National Anthem.
And the NFL wonders why ratings are down.
I cant even begin . They have a uniform policy. There are no messages circumstances or not that the nfl wants on players shoes. ON A TOTALLY DIFFERENT SUBJECT,,,,, there are players kneeling during the National Anthem. The NFL has failed to have a policy , and also failed to act on this since it surfaced.
Coach,, you disagree, because you're in front of a computer,, your wife isn't around and the sky is blue.
The NFL has been unflinchingly rigid in its enforcement of the dress code, and has previously drawn criticism for uniform fines. In 2013, then-Chicago Bears receiver Brandon Marshall was fined for wearing green shoes to highlight Mental Health Awareness week.
Last year, Pittsburgh Steelers running back DeAngelo Williams was fined for wearing "Fine the Cure" eye black for breast cancer, Steelers cornerback William Gay was fined for wearing purple cleats for domestic violence awareness and Steelers defensive lineman Cameron Heyward was fined for wearing eye black to pay tribute to his father, who died of bone cancer.
Given the NFL’s history of inflexibility, the players wearing the cleats on Sunday all seemed fully aware of the fact that it could cost them.
PS: I can disagree with anyone regardless of who's around, or what color the sky is. That's just how I roll, and those who know me best appreciate the honesty. However, there are times when it's best not to speak if you know what I mean![]()
that seems VERY unlikely....
Black & Gold Bleeder;290361]We absolutely know how you roll coach. Maybe youll appreciate this honesty. You're an attention ***** who makes useless usually dumb posts for no reason at all other than to have a moment. You don't do it maliciously,, you cant help yourself.
