1.17 Jordan Addison
It came down to WR, CB, or T. I felt I could get a tackle in the second and I'm entering with the assumption Sutton is re-signed and no one is cut. Addison is the guy who can help elevate the offense.

2.32 O'Cyrus Torrence, G, Florida
He played RG in college, so I'm banking on him playing LG for the Steelers. A massive people move.

2.47 Darnell Wright, T, Tennessee
The idea is that he competes with Moore at LT. Realistically, unless they get a stud, it'll be Moore and Okorafor again next season.

3.80 Drew Sanders, LB, Arkansas
Given the different alignments, I do like his inside/outside potential.

4.120 Keondre Coburn, IDL, Texas
Pure nose tackle.

7.236 Cameron Mitchell, CB, Northwestern
Best available corner at this point of the draft.

7.243 Devonnsha Maxwell, Chattanooga, IDL
Highly productive small-school prospect with 28 sacks in three seasons (26 games played).

I would love to get Torrence at 32.

I’m starting to like that Sanders kid from Arkansas and you got him in a great value spot.

Love most of these mock meat&potatoes drafts. I only cringe when I see Addison in round no.1
This is not the year for offensive toys early. Not if you're actually building toward a championship team again. No more kicking the can. Pleeeeease..lol

I somewhat agree with you. They can still go meat and potatoes and draft Addison. Butttt if a T or G or even a corner is there equal value I probably would prefer that. Just depends on how those dominos fall.

If the opportunity presents itself, trading back multiple times in the first seems to be the way to go. Probably should have taken two DL as opposed to two WR or perhaps a TE.

If Jones and Skoronski are there at 17, which one do you take, or who would have to be there to pass on both?

I am all for Addison in round one as long as they trade DJ for a first round pick … he would be an instant fill in for the role DJ plays and has a far higher upside.. of Green Bay trades Rodgers they may want DJ as a security blanket for Love.. and they will have excess draft capital at that point

Id go Jones… i fear peter will end up as a guard… though then again if hecwas a pro bowl level guard i guess i would not mind

I love that idea. Then drafting Addison would be something I'd feel great about.

Depends on what you want. I think Jones has the arm length to overcome height concerns. Skor has enough attributes to possibly follow suit. But my money is on Jones overcoming height concerns to stay at T if I was rolling the dice between the two. Even if he flips to RT. I think both show enough to be damn good guards. Would also depend on what the Steelers feel would be the better fit between the two schematically. But for me Jones could fit with a power, gap, etc. I know everyone won't agree and that is fine. But if I had to choose between the two it would be Jones if I wanted a T upgrade and Skor if I wanted a G upgrade.

With Jones being what I perceive to be more positional versatile he would be my pick. But I don't think you lose sleep over either prospect with their decent floors.

Eh it isn't that I don't like Addison I do. But I already know what Johnson is and what they don't have at WR outside of Johnson. Experience. You would have a rookie, a second year player who is a wait and see on route improvement, and little to nothing else. Still a no for me unless you are bringing in a vet on top of it in free agency. Like the New England WR. I don't leave the group with little to no NFL experience with Pickett still having very little under his belt.

I'd be happy with either, personally I think Skoronski is the safer bet and also gives instant upgrade at the OL as he could start over Dotson, who I think is the weaker link. Gotta play your best 5

I'd take the best two CBs over either though. Witherspoon and Gonzalez. Or Jalen Carter ahead of all

Carter will be long gone top 5, top ten at worst. I agree Skor would be an upgrade over Dot. Really think Broderick would be too. I have little doubt both could start there out of the gates.I think if both are there at 17 you win with either pick. But at 17 wouldn't you want the prospect that has better odds at staying at T? For me that is a yes.
