Myles Garrett traded to the Rams?!?!

2025: Steelers 23, Browns 9 (Oct 12) | Browns 13, Steelers 6 (Dec 28)
2024: Steelers 27, Browns 14 (Dec 8) | Browns 24, Steelers 19 (Nov 21)
2023: Browns 13, Steelers 10 (Nov 19) | Steelers 26, Browns 22 (Sep 18)
2022: Browns 29, Steelers 17 (Sep 22) | Steelers 28, Browns 14 (Jan 8)

2021 Postseason: Browns 48, Steelers 37 (Jan 10)
That is more of an example of the Steelers being dumb than the clowns being smart.

Chloe Kim needs to dump that loser, but will Marry him I'm sure.

Yes, but you said "the Super Bowl Champion Chiefs." You were wrong.
The point stands. The Rams could go 3-17 in 2026 and the win differential wouldn’t be unprecedented.
Yes, but a top 5-10 pick is not the #1 pick like you said. You are wrong.
I actually said “#1 or #31” which implies anywhere in between. If Mendoza had not been in this year’s draft, there would’ve been damn little difference in the value of the #1 and #5 picks.

The Rams are all in this year, possibly next year as well to get another Lombardi with Stafford

This move shows a team trying to strike while the iron is hot.

The Stains are all out folding pre-flop, definitely next year as well trying their best to remain cellar dwellers.

This move shows a team trying to add fuel to their dumpster fire.
Us signing A A ron is the exact same thing....no? Expect to see a Steelers vs Rams SB......🤔🤪

No NFL team can possibly go 3-17. You are wrong again.

Actually, the Rams are favored to win the Super Bowl, and that would be pick #32. There are 32 NFL teams, not 31. Wrong once more.

No 12-win team in history has ever finished with the worst record in the league the following year, and it won't happen with the Rams in 2027. No matter what you claim to imply.

Not so sure the Rams make it….!!!

Myles just lost 10's of millions in taxes.

It was a travesty what they did to TJ Watt when they awarded helmet swinger DPOY (first time).

Him having to pay those’d excess tax’s will just be more for him to ***** about and long for the factory of sadness return.

I hate to say it, but it appears to be a WIN for the Browns.
Verse is 25, while Garrett is 30.
Browns are now going to suck MORE, so they can get their QB1 in '27 in a VERY heavy QB class, plus an All-Pro pass rusher that's 5 years younger, and 2 more picks.
Not bad.

Cleveland has the firepower to get a QB in 2027 draft now for sure.

I think we have to hope Sanders flashes enough to maybe make them doubt taking a guy.

The Eagles not getting a first rounder until 2028 is good for us too. There is a lot of chirping in Eagle land that maybe Hurts isn't the guy forever. I don't want them in the mix to get a franchise QB either.

Again, so if we can go 7-10, Cleveland and Sanders flash enough to go 8-9 or something like that, Eagles and Hurts do well with the new offensive coordinator. That might leave us in a fairly decent spot with only Arizona and the Jets as definites for QB's. I'm kind of hoping all the other recent 1st rounders look average: Pennix, Ward, Young.

Oh... and Willis has to look okay in Miami.

We would still likely have to move up, but maybe not a LOT.

You are looking at that all wrong... we want the Browns to have the 1st overall pick so they can get the surefire bust qb off the board... if we are really lucky, the Jets also pick in the top 5 so that trainwreck magnet franchise eliminates another bust qb before we pick

All the more reason to have the Browns have a once-and-done "good season". Sanders flashes enough for some to think he's good (he's not - I would love for that to be a division rival's "fanchise guy"). And Cleveland is in cap hell even though they have a young QB to mess up 2027-2030 while we are good with a legit franchise guy rookie contract and reasonable cap situation to build a competitive team around him.

That's the ideal plan. And all the while Baltimore and Cincinnati are deep into their franchise QB huge salary cap numbers.

I'm trying to tell everyone, there is a ton of reasons to be optimistic about the Steelers future but it can't happen unless we fix the QB spot. And I just don't think going through the motions of 2nd round/3rd round picks or doing the "veteran free agent" or the "flawed and rejected former 1st rounder" is the way to go (despite Seattle winning the super bowl with that formula).

This team needs to bottom out in the right year with the right prospects and pick the right guy. It should only take one bad year if you do it right.

I just kind of think if Rogers gets hurt or things blow up in the locker room with him/McCarthy/old Tomlin guys vs. change then this could be the easy year for it to happen and get it out of the way early in McCarthy's tenure.

Maybe I'm hoping on too many "what ifs", but at the same time, there is a part of me that can see this all playing out. Season is still a long way off, so all I can do it wait patiently and see what happens this year.

All I know is there hasn't been one move on this team or around the league to make me think it can't happen.

All it will take is a 7-10 season. I would take worse for sure, but for all you guys wanting us to be competitive like always and a very mediocre 9-8 or 10-7, that is only TWO-THREE game difference. Two or three games that just randomly go against us. Team is still just as talented. Team is still the same. I just want all the normal breaks/luck of a season to go against us this year. This is the year.

I guess anything is possible, but I'll let history be the judge and count on them screwing it up once again.

In the last 25 years they've had around 40 starting QB's and drafted in the top ten 15 times.
Odds are in their favor and will still pick the next Johnny Manziel next April.

Keep in mind that if and when they do get a legitimate QB they will do the same as last one (Baker “dozen” Mayfield), run him out of town.
