okay...what "lies" and what exactly do you want them to come clean on? That they didn't know of any headache situation?

read my comment in this thread...FO is embarrassed. They screwed up big time and look stupid.
what thread?
The Steelers either didn't do their due diligence, as Ed Bouchette has alluded to, or Green lied to them at his physical...maybe both. Big time egg on their face...that's why they are lying to everyone. The entire FO is very embarrassed.
BTW, Jace Amaro and Austin Seferian-Jenkins are two young TE's that could be had for trade...possibly. They are pretty much just pass catchers. Trade for one of them, cut Green, file grievance.
Apparently Steelers players roll their eyes when Green is mentioned, so he has already lost respect in the locker room.
And how do you medically evaluate headaches
Something is fishy, to much talk and nothing else. to much money given for a player with to much hidden info, Tomlin screwed the pouch on this one. Reminds me of some running back that now plays with a team in NE.
It's a wierd, surprising situation to say the least. You'd have to think the Steelers could file a grievance against Green & his agent if they weren't forthright before they signed him. There must be something like that in the background, that's causing Tomlin et al to be so evasive about the situation. In any case, it sucks. I was looking forward to adding a young talent like Green, I thought he'd be a great fit with Ben and this offense. Who knows how this will play out, but I've wiped Ladarius Green from my mind at this stage. I'm rooting for Jesse James and Xavier Grimble to provide what we need at the position. If by some stroke of luck Green comes around and suits up for us mid-season, then great, we can add him to the mix. But I've had enough of Green and his never-healing ankle and mystical headaches at this point. You can't blame the FO for bringing him in, they did what they thought was right at the time to plug a huge hole with Heath retiring. No way they sign him if they were at all aware of these types of lingering issues. Such is life, turn the page, move on.
