More lies and BS on Green. Totally shady that no one will come clean.....

okay...what "lies" and what exactly do you want them to come clean on? That they didn't know of any headache situation?

Wonder if they could go after his signing bonus for undisclosed issues when he signed. This doesn't look like it will end well for us or him

Which is boggling why they didn't sign Keenan Lewis (hip), and why they haven't signed Karlos Williams (suspended, overweight), you know because the Steelers love signing players they already know are injured and won't see the field. I'm utterly shocked we haven't signed Keenan Lewis to a 5 yr 28 mil contract yet, because we love having cap leeches on the PUP, it's what we do. So obviously (why not a Tomlinism) they are hiding something.

*Warning* Every word in the paragraph above is complete sarcasm for those who might misunderstand *Warning*

What wasn't disclosed to the Steelers when they signed Green?

That's what I want to know. Someone screwed up big time here.

It's safe to say had the Steelers known he wouldn't be ready to play at the start of the season, they do not offer him a 4 year 20 million dollar contract.

Did Green hide the headaches and extend of his injury?

Did the Steelers medical staff botch the physical?

The Steelers either didn't do their due diligence, as Ed Bouchette has alluded to, or Green lied to them at his physical...maybe both. Big time egg on their face...that's why they are lying to everyone. The entire FO is very embarrassed.

read my comment in this thread...FO is embarrassed. They screwed up big time and look stupid.

BTW, Jace Amaro and Austin Seferian-Jenkins are two young TE's that could be had for trade...possibly. They are pretty much just pass catchers. Trade for one of them, cut Green, file grievance.

Apparently Steelers players roll their eyes when Green is mentioned, so he has already lost respect in the locker room.

These ones above:

what thread?

It's a wierd, surprising situation to say the least. You'd have to think the Steelers could file a grievance against Green & his agent if they weren't forthright before they signed him. There must be something like that in the background, that's causing Tomlin et al to be so evasive about the situation. In any case, it sucks. I was looking forward to adding a young talent like Green, I thought he'd be a great fit with Ben and this offense. Who knows how this will play out, but I've wiped Ladarius Green from my mind at this stage. I'm rooting for Jesse James and Xavier Grimble to provide what we need at the position. If by some stroke of luck Green comes around and suits up for us mid-season, then great, we can add him to the mix. But I've had enough of Green and his never-healing ankle and mystical headaches at this point. You can't blame the FO for bringing him in, they did what they thought was right at the time to plug a huge hole with Heath retiring. No way they sign him if they were at all aware of these types of lingering issues. Such is life, turn the page, move on.

Embarrassed? Really? Maybe extremely disappointed.

It, probably, wouldn't be that hard to fake it long enough for the physical, especially, if the symptoms are not constant and you can schedule the physical on your time.

SD's comp pick is based upon him getting a certain salary, so I am sure they aren't piping in about how bad he was and/or he hid the extent from them, too.

FO has to rely on the medical evaluation. If that was bad or skimmed over, they need to do internal investigation and determine if that person should be fired.

I'm really not that upset by it. He wasn't a need. He was a want. He is a big WR. We can get by with out him til he ready to go or if he never plays a down for us. He was a replacement for Heath in name of position only. He was never going to do what Heath did for us. James is the guy who will TRY to do that. Rogers emergence as a true threat in the slot will cancel out the loss of Green IMO. Ben hasn't had a savvy slot guy since Ward. Green if he plays this year will just be the icing on the cake for this offense. But it will still be high octane regardless

And how do you medically evaluate headaches

They usually avoid taking any accountability for mistakes; that is why we never really know who makes what decisions. Personally, I'd prefer they man up and take responsibility. Why hide. Come clean. Live clean, white man from town. Live clean.

beating-a-dead-horse-.jpg

Ok let's quit beating this dead horse. We are riding with the outlaw and he's going to be fine. **** green cut his punk *** and lets worry about who's on the team and actually playing.

I'd get my money back. They thought
They paid for a football PLAYER,but he doesn't play.

Something is fishy, to much talk and nothing else. to much money given for a player with to much hidden info, Tomlin screwed the pouch on this one. Reminds me of some running back that now plays with a team in NE.

So this falls on Tomlin and only Tomlin? Same goes for Blount. Tomlin doesn't sign the players checks. It's a collective **** up and anyone who thinks otherwise is delusional.

IF we stick this guy on IR to return, and then he doesn't return, that's some serious BS.

The only thing missing in this paragraph is "come hither"...

I vote 9.2 for vocabulary prowess!!!
