Micah Parsons is a Packer

.... I would have traded TJ for two firsts and a pro bowl DT... outside of a franchise Qb Id trade almost anyone for Two firsts🤣... because unlike most NFL GMs, I realize cap space is an asset.. even if you draft an average guy, most stars dont make enough plays per game to justify trading a ton of assets then overpaying them too

That is a stupid contract... I mean TJ and Garrett were bad... this is just ... i mean really really really dumb...this isnt looking at the WAR value... its looking at how many jerseys you can sell ... and 120 guaranteed? Good gosh... that position jumped the shark... in five years it will overcorrect and fall back behind CB and DT again...

100%. Dallas getting crushed for this but I think they won the trade and wish we had done this with Watt a few years ago. Might have a franchise QB by now.

I’m waiting for TJ to announce he wants a new deal.

It was only 4 year 188
47 per

But almost 50 per
For a defender is some crazy coin
I'm more surprised that there were two major contract resets at the same position in the same offseason. Garrett's jump was ridiculous because it was the only way the Browns could keep him. I don't understand why the Packers would make an even bigger jump while giving up multiple firsts.

I think Cam underestimated the public backlash.

Interesting reading the so called experts in the media analysis of the trade. Dallas was 31st in the league at points given up last year, cruising to a 7-10 record. They made the playoffs in 3 out of 4 seasons he played there, winning one playoff game. Obviously it’s not on one player, but tying up the $$$ he wanted combined with Daks 60 million $$$$ contract was going to be huge.
Many of the experts say that now GB should be favored to win NFC North……they will be in tough with Detroit and Minnesota. Bears went out and spent some money as well.
If Dallas has a bigger down year,I can see them moving on from Dak. Or keeping him one more year while he mentors a QB first round pick next season. Texas QB Archibald Manning and Dallas,I can see it already. Those 2 first round picks will go a long way to make that happen.

For the packers, it says they are certain Jordan Love is their franchise QB. They have good WRs and run game. Parsons could make this defense one of the best. They're a contender now.

The cowboys did get a haul for Parsons. But pass rush is one of the most coveted positions. The next drafts may be loaded at QB and WR but that's where the cowboys have their money spent already. Will they ditch Dak and go for a new QB?

I could see Jerry going after Arch Manning if he enters the draft, nut reports are he's not entering the 26 draft. Cowboys do have an extra 1 in the 27 draft too but I doubt Jerry is playing some kind of 4D chess here.

This impasse was a long time coming. Dallas picked a G at 12. He may be a good player but that's really high for a G and there were lots of pass rushers in this draft

You had one of the top pass rushers at only 26 years old. That's a cornerstone. You have extra picks but now your priority is replacing Parsons and you'll be lucky to hit like that again, especially with Jerry calling the shots. That's what would make me mad if i was a lowlife cowboy fan. So you have lots of picks, do you have faith Jerry will cash those in?

People rag on Tomlin, but Tomlin is Einstein compared to Jerruh.

They get DT Kenny Clark, a good player, but dallas drafted DT Mazi Smith in the 1st round last year. Are they giving up on him?

Cowboys defense will be crap without Micah. If you haven't had your fantasy draft yet, take Dak in a later round along wit Lamb, Pickens, and Jake Ferguson. They're gonna have to pass like 40 times per game.

Jerry should call the Bengals to ask about Trey Hendrickson. Bengals only signed him to a 1 year deal and will have another holdout next year. The bengals are cheap and stupid,. Maybe they'll trade away a pass rusher to avoid paying him.

It's reported Arch Manning is making $6.8 million at Texas this year. He's not leaving until he sees a "good" team with the top pick. Maybe he does come out if Dallas has the #1 pick.

Oh brother.

Oh wait.

Oh ok, now I understand.
