it was addressed: Worilds and Jarvis Jones both high picks, they just chose wrong
To be fair to Jarvis, both of the OLB selected before him have sucked too ..Mingo and Jordan. To be realistic, it's now or never for Mr. Jones. Hope it's now.

Get to the damn qb and these CB's look a lot better

the thing is I still have faith on JJ, if he can become an 8 sacks per season OLB I'll be more than glad with him
If only the need at LB had been anticipated in the past couple drafts....
I haven't given up on Jarvis either..the thing is I still have faith on JJ, if he can become an 8 sacks per season OLB I'll be more than glad with him
Time to move up and get a DB in the draft...Robinson on his way out without a deal signed.
They're now bringing Sterling Moore. Anyone have anything on him outside NFL.com stats? Appears to be a back up type of pro.

Well outside of these two I am not sure there is anyone left worth signing, am I wrong does someone have a guy that is left that might help us? If not I think now we go into the draft with a very strong chance of us drafting 2 CB's and 2 OLB's cause we are hurting at these positions. 4 out of 7 picks on 2 positions not many options huh, am I wrong for thinking like this, thoughts???
Chargers signed CB Patrick Robinson, formerly of the Saints, to a one-year, $2 million contract.
Robinson, the No. 32 overall pick in 2010, has had about as up-and-down a career possible, getting benched repeatedly but also flashing the ability that made him a first-rounder. In San Diego, Robinson should get the first crack as the outside corner opposite Jason Verrett in nickel packages with Brandon Flowers manning the slot. Verrett and Flowers are the starters in base defense.

Robinson has signed with SD. One year 3 mil.
Robinson, it is reported, signed a 1yr deal w 1.25mil guaranteed and a 1mil signing bonus with incentives which could make it a 3mil/1yr contract.
In the meantime, Bradley Fletcher and Tarell Brown both visited the Pats Tuesday with Fletcher walking away w a one year (up to) 2.5mil contract. Fletcher was the worst of the 2 so this means Brown will want at least more than what was offered Fletcher, IMO.
If we really want a vet with experience, I would see signing Brown to a 2-3 year deal w incentives for playing time. Might be able to get a 3yr deal for 6 mil with incentives that could make it worth up to 10.
This would give us a bit of solace with the prospect of losing Gay next year as well as a short-term solution IF Cortez cannot get his mojo back.
