Appears the Steelers could find out if they're getting their #2 WR back prior to the draft. Bryant posted Snapchat video from Brooklyn, NY and claimed to have a big day planned on Thursday. Many assume he will be meeting with the Rog to find out his fate.

They damn well better find out before the draft. If I'm the Rooney's, I am banging on asswipes door and telling him to follow the NFL rules and make a damn decision already. He'll be almost a month past when he was supposed to make a decision, per league rules.

So Roger should be fined and suspended for a year for missing his obligation, just like Bryant...
 
Roger is an asswipe. He needs to take a break from getting hammered in the arse by his best bud Cheat McKraft for a moment and get our man back with the team. Long overdue. It's not like he beat his girlfriend up or robbed a convenience store for crying out loud.

According to USA Today and Sporting News... Bryant will need to provide a "relapse prevention plan." First time that I have heard of this... it is a great idea. I just wish they would have made that clear earlier when he began his petition for reinstatement. It seems silly to wait until this meeting to lay this out. I understand the NFL taking its time and that in the long run it is better for Martavis. I was just hoping we would have some clarity ahead of the draft.

Relapse prevention plan. NFL career/millions of dollars set for life (if you're not a fool) vs getting high,no money,debt piling up, working some 9-5.....easy plan..err or choice
 
Reading the article, it looks slim to none that he is reinstated prior to the draft. That puts them in the position most thought with WR being one of their top needs. OLB, CB and WR in the 1st three rounds. Solidify the D and give Ben a legit No. 2 that can catch the ball to put the O over the top.
 
I don't remember Gordon ever having one. That's right...he relapsed...

Shouldn't the NFL help the players with one, as opposed to a player that was suspended for a year to figure it out on their own. Thanks NFL, you REALLY care about the players...

Granted, I have no idea what has transpired between the commissioners office and Bryant, but come on, where the hell is the players association in all of this? Does Bryant need a lawyer just to protect himself from the bullshit?
From what I can tell, he's towed the line all year, and now has to deal with what looks like an arbitrary action from der fuerher?
 
I still have high hopes. The NFL sure is dragging. I'm wondering if they're just continually passing to the right..
