Martavis decision could be upcoming (reinstated on a Conditional basis)

If the killer B's are healthy and if Green plays, our O will be unstoppable. There would be no excuse not to score 30+ unless Tomlin decides to go run, run, pass.

My Limas Sweed jersey, haha jk I don't think anyone has a Sweed jersey...open for suggestions. Loser buys the lap dances next time I'm down in Tampa?

I have a Sweed jersey.

Just let us know...I'm putting money on the fact that Mr. Bryant will not return to his mischievous ways...
I have a tweed jersey.

Fixed that for ya...does it itch???

I've never heard of a conditional acceptance back to the NFL. It seems like any reinstatement would be conditional, if they don't repeat their offense. This is inane and the league is a ******* joke. If they responded in time, in Feb, then Martavis would have been fully accepted by the draft.

**** Goodell.

sniff sniff yinz had me at

**** Goodell

They need to draft a WR no later than round three. Just saying! Bryant is great talent but his history of smoking weed is a major concern. Just don't trust that he has the will and sense to stay clean.

What are the "conditions" surrounding his full unbiased reinstatement? I still can't find why the "conditional" is used for him. If he fails a test after being reinstated he is done. That's a given. Is that the condition? I guess I don't understand the adjective use.

I stumbled across this little nugget bullshit or legit?

Bryant's second NFL suspension is over after 407 days.

Bryant's second NFL suspension is over after 407 days. Many players — Justin Blackmon, Daryl Washington, Josh Gordon — fail to make it back after being slapped with indefinite bans, so Bryant is ahead of the curve in that regard.

He's one strike away from what would likely be permanent ineligibility, however. The 25 year old has to be a perfect citizen from here on out.

Bryant has 14 scores in 21 career games, and has averaged 17.3 yards per catch. He has the ability to be one of the biggest difference makers in the game at receiver. He was desperately missed opposite Antonio Brown in 2016.

I timed him 5 times on that video and got an average of 4.41 seconds. Fastest stopwatch time for me was 4.36 seconds. Definitely not a 4.27.

Martavis Bryant’s conditional reinstatement is essentially a full reinstatement

Based on the terms of the conditional reinstatement, it’s no different as a practical matter than a full reinstatement.

Ultimately, Bryant will be cleared for the start of the regular season “ased on his compliance and engagement with his program and resources.” Even without that limitation, Bryant would have been required to comply with his treatment and with testing following reinstatement after a banishment of at least one year.

Calling the reinstatement conditional simply means that it will be easier for the NFL to pull the plug on his return than it would have been to suspend him again under the procedures of the substance-abuse policy if he had violated any of the terms of his treatment plan.

He might not really run in the 4.2's but I can Damn well say that once he gets that big body moving down field, he's hauling ***.

Let's hope that the suspension has got his priorities in order. We need him.

Happy for the "OFF" time conditioning. I've read several "SUSPENTION" articles and all along the way he seemed to be taking care of himself in all aspects. I think he is a new DAD also and that could help ground him a little too. As for his personal life I wish him well but he has the potential to wrap us all around his little finger in his PROFESIONAL life. Here's to wrappin and I'm NOT talking crap music.........

Salute the nation

At 230, he is like a TE running down the field. With that size and speed now, I sure hope he stays clean.

He is a "new dad" for the 3rd time. The first two did not ground him. Not sure if his current GF is baby momma #3 or if he remained with #2. But, if it is #3, three kids with 3 different moms. He needs to shake that dope out the baggie and wrap it around his dick.

He is Ripped! Man he may be a force this year. That would be great!

And it looks like the term Conditional is going to be used for anyone coming back from now on. Daryl Washington is also conditional from Pittsburgh West.

Tad off subject, but the Bruce was on local TV last night saying the Cards want no part of Washington, so at 30 he may be done in the league. Great to think Bryant will be producing this year.

After sleeping on it I can't wager against one of our own in good conscience, and do firmly stand by the 50/50 line though unfortunately.
I'd hate to win that bet, so I'll buy the first couple rounds next time I'm down that way to celebrate Martavis making through the season without incident...sure hoping he does because we will need him.

I think the SAP program has provisions written into it so counseling or a medical evaluator being in your team's location is part of the treatment for all guys coming off of suspension. So, before you can step foot back at a team facility, you get that set up and approved by the league, then you are fully reinstated.

IIRC, that is the procedure.

If he is truly running 4.27 40's now and has put on size and strength, WOW. He stays clean he could be the best in the league opposite AB.
