The offense reached a new dimension ever since he caught that TD against the Texans. Dude is freakin awesome.
Rookie Martavis Bryant, who played in the shadow of Sammy Watkins and DeAndre Hopkins at Clemson, has caught five touchdowns in his first three games, tying former Pittsburgh tight end Eric Green's NFL record dating back to 1980. The Steelers have averaged 41.3 points per game since adding Bryant to the wide-receiver rotation in Week 7. Over that three-game span, Roethlisberger is 88-of-119 passing (73.9 percent) for 1,127 yards (9.47 yards per attempt), 14 touchdowns and zero interceptions. Credit general manager Kevin Colbert for finding talented wide receivers in the mid-to-late rounds of the draft.
Bryant has Randy Moss's triangle numbers. The big question on him was could he find the ball in the air and be consistent. Seems he can. As a matchup he's a nightmare, and with so many guys who can catch on this team (Spaeth, Miller, Brown, Wheaton, and Bell) it's really hard for a defense to account for him in the crowd.
Two things, coaches need to teach him to come back to the ball at times, you can't wit for the ball and lets have some class when you get a TD..

You talking about the QB from the Texans ? Cause if you are talking about the WR from the Cards...I like your homerness but I dont ever see that happening...but to each his own ..with time he could be as good a Fitz.
I love what the kid is doing. But remember he is going against teams 3rd CB and last night played against the rats 5th CB because of injury.
Having said that, this is exactly why Ben wanted a tall WR. All QBs need a guy that can just go up and get the ball. Ben has done well with smaller WRs like Ward, Wilson, Holmes, Brown etc... but now he has someone that can catch a ball that isn't perfectly thrown.
its not just poorly thrown balls, its that ben can put it high out front and the DB, especially the smaller DBs, wont have a play on it. same with jump balls. Gives you more options to throw into coverage
Yes. And with the benefit of having Brown, Wheaton, Bell and Miller (and now Bryant) it makes it almost impossible for a defense to cover everyone. I also wish the Steelers play a top team like the pats* in the regular season so I could see how they man up to them.
