Justin Fields.
He was showing improvement, even being handcuffed in Tomlins ultra conservative offense. He improved on every single part of his game. He's a decade younger, so if you can tap into that potential, you may have a long term answer at the most important position on the field. He fits the offense better than Wilson, and has the escape ability to get out of trouble and turn negative plays into positive plays. He showed that ability most in the redzone, 5 rushing TD's in 6 games. Had he been the starter all year, he would have put up Hurts type rushing TD numbers.
If you bring in a legit WR2, he will have something he's never had before, a supporting cast. In Chicago he was forced to be THE MAN. He can absolutely be a Lamar Jackson, Jalen Hurts type guy with the right players around him. Tomlin already wants to be a run heavy team, so why not have a guy at QB that can also run the ball. It will only create easier throws in the long run if you are successful in the run game.
Worst case, he bombs... you end up drafting inside the top 15 instead of outside of 20, and you at least have a veteran back up or bridge QB for a young draft pick (whether its this year, next year, or the year after).
Wilson only has a year or two max. It paints you into a corner even further.
