LMAO, Tomlin with pure comedy.

What are the top 3 reasons that Steelers fans want Tomlin gone?
Lack of playoff success in past decade

Lack of in-game coaching adjustments.

Inability to "coach up" draft picks combined with mis-using players at non-natural positions after Villanueva.

What are the top 3 reasons that Steelers fans want Tomlin gone?

1. Offensive scheme is cowardly and predictable
2. Defensive scheme is very predictable and vanilla
3. He has total control over both and has hired lackeys since Haley and LeBeau

He simply has too much power over everything, including the roster. The more control and power he’s gained, the further away they’ve gotten from being a legit contender.

Here's 3 Top Reasons Mouth Breathers want Tomlin Gone + a Bonus Reason at no cost to you

Apparently, fans want him gone because he's a terrible football player. He's an undisciplined tackler who doesn't maintain his gaps. His commitment to learning the playbook is questionable and the evidence is in his on-field production on Sundays. He's more worried about social media and money than perfecting his craft. He wears sunglasses.

You know who doesn’t talk about having a historically great defense? A coach who actually has a historically great defense.

It’s ok, because it’s just talk. Better have a plan to back it up though, because if you don’t, your words will be thrown in your face over and over. Your nose will be rubbed in it. That’s the part that sucks.

Coach Tomlin did not say the D is historically great or good or whatever. That's been settled.

He said "historical" not "historic" so stop twisting his words
Actually, Tomlin misused the word himself. Or are you really trying to purport that by "big things" he just meant that this will be some average, middle-of-the-road defense? Only of "historical" note because it simply existed?

Don't try to look smarter than you actually are. That's Tomlin's job.

What are the top 3 reasons that Steelers fans want Tomlin gone?
1 No playoff wins in a significant amount of time
2 No playoff wins in a significant amount of time
3 He has no ragrets about no playoff wins in a significant amount of time

You claim Coach Tomlin misused the word. Can you substantiate your claim?

"Big things" means big things. It doesn't mean historic or whatever you want it to mean.

Who claimed something will be of "historical note?" I didn't hear Coach Tomlin say that.

I'm not smart. IQ is a myth.

I was about to substantiate it. Then I did a little research, and realized that @Coryea had misquoted Tomlin. He (Tomlin) didn't say "historical," he said "historic," which would indeed be proper in this context. I listened to the interview myself. Tomlin said:

"We gotta write that story, but we've got enough talent, we've got enough schematics to do big, big things. And when I say big things, I'm talking about historic things."

Therefore, I was wrong, and I stand corrected. I shouldn't have relied on second-hand info. For the edification of our community here:
.
The word historic refers to something in history that is important or famous or significant.
The word historical refers to something that is based on history, but not necessarily important or famous or significant.

So, yes, Tomlin did indicate that he believes this defense will be one for the record books. We'll see.

"Historically great?! (somebody cue Jim Mora) Are you kiddin' me? I'm just hopin' we don't give up 40 points and 300 yards rushing in our next playoff game!"

Let's decide on an appropriate punishment for @Coryea

You are the only person in the history of the www to admit they are wrong

If only there were somebody responsible for these two, the only two that matter.

Pipe dream, I know.

Yes, the post-Tomlinship achievements are not there for the past decade; no preparation, game plan or strategic adaptations based on playoff opponent or game situation.
I'm hoping to strike it rich this year. IF, and I mean IF, the Steelers make the playoffs, I'm betting a very large amount of money on them losing the game. It's a sure-fire win for me!! (y)

Using which country’s monetary system as that could impact one’s definition of “large amount of money”.

In any aspect, I generally wish well your way.

Salute the nation

Obviously a huge component of TAC’s game is douchbaggery, he’s got vast amounts of pedigree in that department and excels at things of that nature…obviously

A true team captain of the twatwaffles sort of player as he always jumps in to defend the dimwitted, the mediocre, the underachievers that obviously can’t defend themselves…a real stand up guy…a hand in the pile guy if you will

How about in protest you refuse to post on any threads commented on by him or the other 95% of this board who believe Tomlin should have been fired already who you called “crackers” in this thread???

That would be horrible….no please no…

@TimesAreChanged is now in strong contention for the most hated poster here, congrats you POS
