You said they were lucky to be 1-1-1 because of the poor defense, which is, simply, not true.

Actually, what I said was they were lucky to be 1-1-1 because:

a) The Steelers managed to win a game despite having twice as many penalty yards as rushing yards, and
b) Hue Jackson is an idiot.

Against the Ravens, the trend continued. They had 40 yards in accepted penalties and 19 yards rushing. Didn't get lucky this time, did they?

Additionally, I said Ben would have to throw for an average of at least 344 yards per game for them to make the playoffs. He only had 274, and the Steelers lost yesterday.

Shocking.


p.s. Although it had no effect on the Steelers' results this week, Hue Jackson is still an idiot.
