Juju - will he at least get an offer?

12 mill max and I target Hassan reddick to play Köln with highsmith we need a proven rusher as we had seen what happened when bus went out and using scrubs and a raw pass rusher try getting reddick on a 2 ye deal incentive laced the guy like th can get to an and create ff

Very disappointed it doesn't even look like we are going to make JuJu an offer. Dumb move if you ask me. He has said and shown numerous times he wants to stay. He is the leader in our WR room and he plays Steeler football. Johnson has shown nothing to believe he is a leader. Claypool definitely isn't but could be when he grows up. So, maybe your No. 3 WR in Washington is your leader. That doesn't make much sense. You have to at least make him your best offer and see what happens. If it's $10 million and he turns it down, so be it. At least you made your best offer.

Easy come...easy go..

His behavior costs him a chance to stay with the organization...

I was hoping the loveable kid as a rookie and 2nd year player would grow into a professional....but it never happened..
In fact, he seemed to digress....

I really had no issue with his social media stuff. The only issue was with him going out to mid-field on away games. Social media is part of society nowadays. Taking pictures and shooting little videos is 2nd nature to teens and kids coming out of college nowadays. None of that was a big deal.

I would like to say it had absolutely nothing to do with it, but after Labriola's comments about Claypool, it probably did. He's a mouthpiece for the organization.

Bud has played well the last 2 yrs. JuJu has not shown he can be a true #1. You can blame the QBs in 2019 or blame the scheme last year and they are definitely fair arguments, but the bottom line is he has not put up huge #'s without Brown. That is why i said JuJu needs more of a prove it deal

Juju is about his brand and wants to make that $$$. Good for him...but it won’t be with the Steelers next year

We are a BETTER team if he stays but can "make do" if he is gone. CAP strapped dictates but also realize they are not done reworking contracts so there still is a glimmer of hope these next 6 days..

Salute the nation

"honor that"? he didn't promise/guarantee that he'd be a Steeler his entire career, no matter what. Not that I'm saying they would or I think they would, but if the Steelers gave him a ridiculous douchebaggy lowball offer, should he just take it because he's "honoring" his mentioning that he "wants" to be a Steeler his entire career? What was he supposed to say in that instance? "nah, **** all that man, i'm trying to maximize my career earnings before this game is done with me, if it's not with Pittsburgh then so be it". Of course he has to say the things that won't allow the media and us fickle fans to be all up in his ***.
It’s a short career for most players. It’s best to get the best contract he can. I cannot blame the guy.

Pro sports can have glory, but it’s also a cold business

I just read an article that expects JuJu to get top 6 money and looking at 18 mil / yr. If that is the case then we have no chance at all

He's not even top 10 money but we still should have made him our best offer. He will be missed on O next season. ****, now you see mentions of not only Bell but even AB coming back to the Steelers. If they bring those fools back, I won't watch. That will be it for me until they are gone.

Yeah ,it's not going to happen. He's a good wr, not a great wr. Antonio Brown was a great wr. A nutjob ****** human, but a great wr. Hines Ward was a great wr and even better all around football player that could stand on his own. JuJu needs a solid No.1 on the other side of the field to put up big numbers. A running game worth two ***** wouldn't hurt either.

I like him and wish him well. Go get your money dude, a sucker is born everyday when it comes to teams overpaying. Trouble is he will never see all of that money anyway when he gets released in a few years because of that big contract.

JuJu will not stay , he has said he wanted to stay here but as usual he loves to hear himself talk. The lates rumor today is he is gone by his words

JuJu may want to say, but seems like the steelers are not even going to make him an offer. Not sure how that in any way is JuJu's fault.

What can they reasonably offer him? Without restructuring half the team and kicking the can further down the road? He is not worth what he is going to get on the market. The Steelers can’t afford it either way. Not sure why all the gnashing of teeth over this.

Sure, the Steelers can make him a ****** offer and he will turn it down and that will have accomplished what exactly? The guy is more famous for logo dancing and TikTok videos these days than he is for catching footballs.
