Judgement Day "Shady Brady" vs. Roger - OFFICIAL THREAD

Seriously, anyone going to the first game needs a "Karma is coming for you Tommy" sign..... it will absolutely make ESPN if he goes down with a boo Boo or loses the game.....

never is said enough

**** Tom Brady and **** the Patriots.

Well, if you can believe Florio and PFT, the ruling will come down this week.

Typically my conspiracy theories don't play out step for step like this one has... They are literally dragging this out to the very brink of the start of camp, there is no way there isn't an injunction that lets him play game 1 now....

I don't think it looks good for the NFL.

Here is a possible legal defense Brady is going to use and I, for one, see his side of the argument is pretty strong.

Unless someone has broken a law, courts rarely intervene in disputes between private organizations and members of said private organization. In my opinion a court should refuse to hear the case, but in this case they might. Anything to make sure Brady plays in the opener.

The script has been written, the characters have been chosen, unless therre is a death amongst them, the ending will be played out as well.

If he plays in the opener take the Pats** and the points no matter what the spread is.

I keep reading a story or two about his team mates backing him in the fact that he is pissed off. The world had better watch out as a mad t*mmy b*y is going to exact revenge................ **** it, I say let him play, with out the help of the refs. I;m sure the rest of the NFL players are worried sick, that gaydie is mad.... I think the rest of the nfl just wants fair play by the refs. Give t*mmy b*y the same rules as other QBs, he won't make it a season, yet a lone masybe a game. I can just see James Harrison, not being held, come arouind on t*mmy, S-H-I-T pants.

I actually think in 90% of states he will have no case. Courts are loathe to reverse suspensions like this, even when there is ample cause to do so. the CBA and past practice arguments go out the door if the NFL argues it was suspending him for failure to cooperate, not for the actual event of deflating balls. We know courts have upheld suspensions for people who have refused to allow employers to search vehicles and bags before when reasonable evidence existed that something might be in there on their property. I think there are two they might get a favorable ruling in, Massachusetts, for obvious reasons, and Minnesota, though Im sure the league will fight for a change of venue to New York.

I think too many people are applying criminal law standards to a civil case that courts traditionally shy away from.

I just read the article. It does not appear to have any merit at all, none. Reading the first statement by the legal team which is the foundation that all the rest of the argument hinges on would make any statements based on this line of argument moot and irrelevant. An attempt to state that equipment was tampered with can only be employed against those specifically employed by the organization to manage and handle the equipment is idiotic and useless. Fines have been handed out for improper use of equipment in the past, spearing with the helmet, leading with the helmet, excessive celebration with the ball, just to name a few. The comment that assumes the only evidence that is valid in the case is direct evidence is also a great try at misinformation by an attorney as he simply attempts to rule out all others, which he can not, and to fail to acknowledge the crime of conspiracy to commit. He is also trying to apply a standard that does not apply in this case which is beyond reasonable doubt instead of a preponderance of evidence. The tactics are good if you can get away with it but in order for it to be successful one needs a judge that is an idiot or paid off and a counter part that is inept and likely an idiot as well.

I hope they stuff the gator aid cooler up his *** with no lube on the first play of the season for marsha

Obviously as fans, we may NOT all live in Boston (area). We may not have the capabilities to look at this "deflategate" from t*mmy's perspective of emtitlement. Shame on US.

I've got no problem with this case going to court. Want to show you're innocent Marcia? Then turn over your ******* PHONE.

I think any business or organization should have the right to refuse participation or suspend its employee if they see fit. I see his recourse as getting his money back in the court. Not his participation. The NFL has deemed his behavior as bringing embarrassment to it. End of story. The legal fight should only be for lost wages.

I'm sure Marcia doesn't was to be suspended at all but I suspect the real agenda is to simply delay it until they play Buffalo in game 2 or Jacksonville in game 3 where they won't miss him.

Where's Vis when you need him???

Agreed. If his lawyer, and I do not profess to be one at all, has any sense - he'd better work on defending the reason why both team employees were fired and the fact that T*m Br*dy was uncooperative during the investigation. The prosecution will have investigators digging up and revealing things that would have never been revealed, if this would have stayed between the NFL and Br*dy...so, I hope this case does go to court and then we'll find out just how long this team has been cheating...

I hope he plays. And I hope the Steelers make his day miserable and chase his *** all over the field and crush him.

We all know Brady will be in the starting lineup against us..I doubt he ever serves a suspension ..

Why have we not heard a peep about Bell's appeal ? Was suspended before Brady ...appealed before Brady...but nothing..

All I know is that if Brady gets out of the suspension those two guys ought to be suing the **** out of the NFL and the **s.

Clearly they were unfairly fired and slandered.

Ahhhh...YES! This is exactly what I'd be planning for, if I was one of them...and of course I'd begin writing a book about it all...
