Just saw this and didn't see it posted.

yep I was pulling for him to win it.He deserved it he pretty much carried that team IMO.
Jackson had a red hot Henry and a damn good OC that has developed him.Jackson deserved that award, and even as much as I hate everything Ravens, I could see that. Jackson led every single category, by a fair amount, except rushing TD's.
We have now seen two seasons in a row where the leader in all but one head to head category does not win. I'm sorry but they should just change it from NFL MVP to NFL DEI and be done with it. I am not a fan of Jackson, but honestly what more could he have done, that supposedly Allen did?
The year that TJ tied the sack record and eclipsed every other player, he should have won the DPOY and MVP. He should have also won DPOY last year too.
These awards and Pro Bowl listings are no longer even legitimate. Then again when the NFL has become the joke it is, why wouldn't the "awards" be too.
I don't disagree on this, but would you still feel the same if it were Ben under the same conditions? If Allen was close on every category, maybe you could use that argument. Jackson should not be penalized because he has a supporting cast.Jackson had a red hot Henry and a damn good OC that has developed him.
The NFL MVP is not the "He played really good without an All Star cast" awardI am not going to diss Jackson but he had a really good team behind him.
Every team loses players, so did Baltimore, big deal. They gutted Buffalo’s defense, guy lost WRs and still willed his team far.
That is a fair argument, and I can see it. I just equate it to last years DPOY award that TJ got screwed out of with the same rational. Garrett got it because he "Almost Got there" a lot of times, while they guy that did get there lost out.I would pick him for that reason as stats don’t always tell the complete story.

Don't get me wrong, I am not losing sleep over Jackson getting screwed, just pointing out that these awards are more about DEI than actually accomplishments.
Garrett had to field all the questions about his game lacking vs TJ's last year, Allen will get to enjoy those questions this year.
Won more games? Allen showed up in big moments. Second best record in the AFC. Both did something no other QB ever did, Allen just won more.Jackson deserved that award, and even as much as I hate everything Ravens, I could see that. Then he should have learned to play QB like Lamar did... the media forgot you can vote for any position for MVP long agoBarkley was the difference maker in Philly this year. He should have won it.
Agreed it is QB heavy. But Barkley 100% changed that team into a Super Bowl team. Nothing again Hurts, Allen or Jackson but Barkley made that team what it isThen he should have learned to play QB like Lamar did... the media forgot you can vote for any position for MVP long ago
Why? Tomlin wouldn't let him thrown in the middle of the field either.Wish he was our qb
Curious as to why/how you think a white guy getting the MVP award over a black guy with better overall stats is DEI-related. Explain that one to me.Jackson deserved that award, and even as much as I hate everything Ravens, I could see that. Jackson led every single category, by a fair amount, except rushing TD's.

Meh.....It should have went to Jackson. The one year he truly deserved it he loses it. Kind of ironic.Won more games? Allen showed up in big moments. Second best record in the AFC. Both did something no other QB ever did, Allen just won more.

Wilson has never been a qb who utilized the middle of the field. Why? Tomlin wouldn't let him thrown in the middle of the field either.
Lol......Tomlin's offense doesn't throw into the middle of the field for a reason. Even Ben's last season he was squashed until the 4th quarter and Ben did his own thing.......to the results of 7 fourth quarter come from behind victories. It simply is what it is.......until Rooney mandates Tomlin to change. I won't be holding my breath on that front though.Wilson has never been a qb who utilized the middle of the field.
