I wonder if the Chin would be interested in a GM position? If he is, I would bring him in and let him choose his Coaches.
I can't see him giving up his cushy network job.

What a waisted #1 draft pick and wasted F/A signing. What did we sign Mitchell for, something like 5/25 million. Holy crap!
What are Colbert and Tomlin watching when they draft some of these guys and bring the others in through F/A?
How does Colbert become so inept in recognizing talent? He and Cowher worked great together. Maybe Cowher was the true talent evaluator and Colbert got credit not deserved. Now he's exposed under this coach. I don't know! Find it hard to believe Colbert just got stupid in evaluating talent.

Yeah, Le'Veon - Antonio - DeCastro - Pouncey - Gilbert - Hayward - Tuitt - Shazier!
You guys SUCK!
What the hell was our coaching staff and front office thinking when they drafted you?!?!?
Seriously?
Not one team hits on all their picks.
Even our legendary '74 draft had stiffs.
Yes, it seems like we have a bunch of stiffs all bunched too close together. I get it.
I'm sorry, fellas.
This is my second post like this.
I think all of these injuries + wasted stiff picks/FA + questionable play calling + off field shenanigans all too close together is getting to me.
It is what it is.
As the the great Jerome Lester Horwitz once said, "We're a victim of circumstances."
And it stinks.

Has this been verified by the Steelers or is this more internet rumor bullshit?
The question is whether Shazier has the instincts and reaction time to play safety. I like the idea in theory though, and we know he has the speed as well.I still stand by my position that Shazier should be moved into Mitchell's Safety spot. Addition by subtraction. Shazier just seems too small to take on the Bug Ugly's all the time, and he gets hurt more often than not.
Shazier needs protected, kind of like Ray Lewis was in the early 2000's, the line didn't let anyone touch, him ran freely to make plays
For the most part, Tombert drafts pretty good on offense but their draft picks on defense are mostly bad or get hurt a lot. I've made the case before that in ten years Tombert only drafted four decent players on defense. Shazier is too soon to tell but he's another one that gets hurt a lot.

I hope Debo has 6 strong games as a starter left in him.
Honestly, I would much rather have read that Mike Mitchell was being demoted instead of Jarvis.
Listening to Jones' comments yesterday, he thinks he will still get the most snaps between the 2. I sure hope he is as delusional as his play is.
About time, anyone with eyes could see who the better player was. The final two drives must've been the nail in the coffin
