Its about time, Porter was long over do to be let go, Who did he ever develop?

I'm not feeling confidant that Butler will go though. I would have thought he would have been the first to go. Danny Boy should also go.
 
He needed to go, but I'm afraid that probably means Tomlin and Butler are coming back. If Rooney was cinsidering firing Tomlin or Butler he would fire from the top down.

Disgusting enbracement of this circus of drama and underachievment.

The D is a mess and confused because of Tomlin. He runs the D and has since LeBeau left. In his presser after our last loss, he acknowledged he didn't get the call in on time. Why the **** is he sending calls in if he isn't actually running the D? He needs to go or he needs to turn the D completely over to a D coordinator.
 
Makes me even more nervous. If Butler isn't the first casualty it makes me think he may not be one at all. If they dont at least make a splash move I will not be moving forward on an expensive trip to see this team next season.
 
Maybe that ex Giant LB coach made a good impression, and that is what they plan on doing for their off-season changes.

This makes me believe that they will be bringing Bud back now next year cause it was Joey’s fault that Bud was worthless.

If you're worried about not seeing Butler fired -- just look at it this way. Porter's contract was up, so it's a matter of just not bringing him back.
That's different than Butler, who is probably still under contract, at which point it's a matter of working out the details of the firing.

I've always been a Peezy fan ever since he walked through other teams' warm ups. I wish the organization could have found something else for him to do instead of firing him. Maybe a front office job or something, at least. He was a true blue Steeler through and through, and those guys are on the verge of extinction.

They can cut him and be on the hook for nothing. Otherwise, he’s gonna earn over 9mil. I sure as hell hope they cut him.
