Jerry Rice says Brown wants to be a 49er

The #2 pick in the draft is a good start. But Brown is not a 1 pick athlete. He's an elite player locked into a contract and is a HOF caliber player. 3-5 picks minimum for him, or 2 picks and a very good player.

LMAO, if you think anyone is giving up 3-5 picks for an entitled WR that quit on his team and EVERY GM in the league knows the Steelers NEED to get Brown out of the locker room. Trading based on need hardly ever favors the person in need.

And that's the ONLY thing I can think of that makes any sense here.

If Brown REALLY wanted to be traded, he'd make it somewhat POSSIBLE for the Steelers to trade him. By making the whole world know that he's pitching a fit and that the Steelers HAVE to get rid of him, he makes it virtually impossible for them to get anything reasonably equitable for him. And honestly, I wouldn't trade him for **** picks. ALL the ******* cap space they freed up from the Bell fiasco would be countered by the 22 million they have to eat over the next two years. Ya, they save some immediate salary assuming they don't sign another high-price player, but still they're on the hook for 22 ******* million dollars. No way in HELL do I take that unlubed **** in the ***.

If I were left with a **** choice of eating that kind of money, I'd make every ******* dime of it back in game-day suspensions for behavior issues. No way in hell do I give him that sweet trade deal he's wanting?

Then you have to pay him a roster bonus in March, and his salary and signing bonus still count towards the cap this year so you're still paying 22 million to have that dick bag on this team. Then next off season it all starts again.

We will need TWO #1 WRs to replace him, so no, not acceptable

The Radiers have three first round picks, two of them in the playoff slots past #20. Just saying. AB can make it rain in Vegas for all I care. I want the best value.

Good point

good, good good, if players don't want to be In Pittsburgh goodbye. Tomlin has sure changed the culture of what the Steelers once stood for.

I would be ok with the two highest.:tears_of_joy:

unless AB is just extremely immature, insecure, jealous, or all of the above I just don't get it.

That's what James Harrison seems to confirm:

“I don’t think it would have caused something like this," Harrison said. "At the end of the day, I think it may have rubbed him a little raw because he is the one drawing doubles. He is the one margin situations easier for JuJu to be able to get the balls and the yards that he got. I think he may have been a little slighted by it. But at the end of the day, I don’t think that’s the No. 1 thing that has caused this.

Rubbed him a little raw and slighted? Grow the **** up man.

**** Jerry Rice

Why? What has Jerry Rice said or done to draw your ire? Campaign for a disgruntled all-pro player to join the 49ers?

More fitting:

**** Antonio "What Can You Do For" Brown.

AB wants to be anywhere where he can be the diva.

FWIW: Pat Kirwin today (he has inside NFL contacts, big friends with Cowher, too) said he was told AB will NOT BE TRADED TO AN AFC TEAM under any circumstances.

thought the raiders made sense, again. Well let's get that 9ers 1st round pick, send them AB + McCullers to sweeten the deal

Probably why AB has been hinting his desire to be a 49'er. I think it started w/ George Kittle tweeting him "Sup" and AB giving him googly eyes or something. They may give up the farm if they think AB can help Garrapolo & get them over the top.

And what is the contrary? The Steelers DON'T have to move him, AT ALL. Think about it for a sec. The Steelers hold all the cards here. If they don't like the trade, they don't move him. And you can be damn sure they don't let him go for one ******* pick. That's not smart for a known All-pro HOF caliber player IN THEIR PRIME.

Doubly dumb if they are still eating $21M in dead money and all they have to show for it is an extra rookie...

Isn't McCullers a FA?
