jarvis

I've heard conflicting reports on the spinal stenosis thing. Being a UGA fan as well, their doctors claimed he was misdiagnosed at USC and his play at UGA didn't show any ill effects. There is probably something to it, but he did get in the weight room this offseason and add a little mass from what I've read. It probably does slow his gains though and unsure if he will ever be able to add the strength necessary to be a pass rusher. With his motor if try moving him inside a bit to see if he can be of value there so we have a more clear idea how to approach a possible contract after this year. A lot of his splash plays at UGA did come from him sliding inside and stunting to come through unblocked. He did seem to have a nose for the ball and still has that motor, and Shazier can't seem to stay on the field either.

Jarvis was a playmaker in college cause that defense was loaded on talent. You had to account for Ogletree, Jenkins, Ramik Wilson, along with Jarvis. His high motor impacted the college level. And in all reality, I think his stenosis is a factor in his off season training program. Cause he does have the size to be dominant. And if wanted he can impact the play. Still rooting for him. So we'll see

That D was loaded MTC and a good deal of his impact was due to scheme and moving him around, just wanting to see him slid inside a bit more as he's seemed better at getting penetration there when playing with inside gap responsibility than our MLBs have. We just need to know how to best utilize him if we are contemplating a contract renewal. I'm sure Shazier will quickly get back in the sweats once he returns to the field so I will probably get a bit more to view here in the coming weeks.
