The james play and the Ertz play are not the same. Both were TDs but not the same. James play was TD because his hand was underneath the ball and there wasnt conclusive evidence to overturn it. But according to the dumb rule his play was right to be questioned. The ball moved but his hand was underneath. Should not of been overturned based off the letter of replay. No conclusive evidence that his hands wasnt underneath when it moved..
Ertz play was a TD all the way he had already established a CATCH when he took three steps. He was a runner at the point he dove. He didnt have to maintain control thru the ground just break the plane of the end zone.. the plays are not similar
