So, does James Harrison sign a 1-day contract to retire a Steeler? Just curious if both parties would be up for that?

**** Deebo. he made his bed of ****, and can lie in it.

Meh, not even that long. Only about three games.

For me not the amount of games he played for the cheats, but how it all came about. His locker room bullshit. Thinking the player was bigger than the team.

Loved him as a player in his prime.

But for me he can still go **** himself deep into retirement.

He retired a year too late. Showed his *** with his departure this year. Its not that he left the team, its how he left the team and where he went after everything that's been said and chronicled about them. He's a ******* snake. Respect what he did for us but the taint is going to stay on him for a long time.

I hope so, even its a day when Tomlin is on vacation as didn't use Harrison enough, and wasn't exactly honest with him.

If he was promised playing time at the beginning of the season, that explains why he didn't retire last year and also why he would be upset about not getting any PT. Aside from Watt and Shazier...we didn't have another LB that should have kept him off the field, at the very least in a rotation. Clearly there is a better way for him to handle that situation if what was being reported about his locker room antics is true. But I don't fault the guy for wanting to play especially if he was told he would.

I think he could have handled it better but I also think they should have played him more, obviously.

I think a few folks believe they would have seen the Deebo of old make a reappearance if only they had given him more playing time. Wasn't going to happen. And his level of play while a *Cheat showed me nothing that says the Steelers/Tomlin made the wrong choice. You could have gotten play at that level from Moats. Moreover, James is an *** for the way he worked to get out of town. Giving him more playing time because he was acting like some spoiled ******* kid? Yeah, that's a good message to send to the rest of the team: "Pout, act like an *** and let your teammates down and we'll give you more playing time." Y'all would have really had your panties in a bunch about Tomlin losing the team, not being respected by the players, etc. if reports came out saying Harrison was rewarded with more playing time after pulling all that ****.

**** James Harrison.

we may never see a better rusher off the edge, or it may take 15-20 years to find a rusher that will challenge his sack record, he showed like vs the ravens, browns, lions at times you double tripled teamed it did not matter, I honestly had hoped woodley would of stayed but he couldnt stay of the weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed, and tomlin had enough, hopefully dupree hasa breakout year and niotches 8-10 sacks. would love to see him retire 1 day.

Get over rit already people....He wasn't getting on the field and wanted to freakin' play....Yea he went about it wrong, but dude had one last shot and he knew it. Can't fault him for that...

This will be forgotten as time goes on.....

Right! Some people will still hold onto their bad feelings about it for the rest of their lives. Sad!

Many players have become villainized over similar situations and fans don't forget. Did fans have a problem Franco in a Seahawk uni? I think they got over that rather quick. In time, I see it washing away with James, too. He accomplish a helluva lot as a Steeler to let 3-4 games in a Cheats uni to destroy his Steeler legacy.

after all the FO and the coaches were right, he was about done. Why did he have to go on a tantrum as if he were in his prime, people needs to stop and smell the roses.

Hated the pats***** stuff, but it doesn't erase all of those years of destroying people and making big plays to help win games. I'll never forget the pick 6 in the super bowl . Without that play we may not have won that game.

Again not always that you left but how you left.

You can like a players contributions but dislike how they acted on their way out. It is allowed.

And sometimes like in Harrison's case warranted.

People are judged in life with how they act. If you are a ******** less people like you.

Want to be liked more? Be a ******** a little bit less.

I have no problem with fans for disliking whomever. It is their option. I don't think it is sad for them to feel one way or another.

They put their money into the sport, they can have a opinion.

My opinion is he is a *******, and caused unneeded distractions. On a team that had too many to begin with.
