Not disagreeing, however, the reason I said we are like Browns fan is that they act like endless optimism will translate into implausible results, and - at this point - I feel like that crowd of Steeler fans are akin to that thinking, as if this team has the ability to make any noise in the post season. I mean, in order to think that as even somewhat possible, you must not be watching this team play or the coaches coach. The trend has been made obvious: This team underachieves at the worst times. you can't be serious saying that the season is already over. I'm completely dissapointed with Tomlin and the team in general but they are on the hunt for a wildcard place, not that they will do much if they keep playing like they are but still, the season is far from over

You have watched them and you know that any real hope of contending for a ring is over with until we move out an incompetent coach, who is well over his head. Did you hear him in his last presser? I mean, he was babbling incoherently. The Rooneys think 3 coaches since 1969 is some kind of badge of honor - they brag about it incessantly. Well, I got news for them: IF they don't dump this failed coach, nothing will get better. We will suffer in mediocrity - at best - until changes are made.

I have never seen in print or dialogue the Rooneys brag on having three head coaches since 1969. The media commenting on this fact is what you are alluding to. Actually the Rooneys (Dan and now Art II) operate on having stability in management. With SB 8 appearances, 3 of those coming within the last 10 years with two wins, I find their system hard to refute, especially how the game has evolved since 1980. But what do they know? We all have our opinions which are right to no one but ourselves. But hey! That's why the play the game, to keep Coolie on his toes busting chops with new (and old) brains on the board.

The way I see it, if it's football-related, it's football talk. I didn't realize it ALL had to positive, especially during a non-playoff streak, fresh off a home loss to the 4-7 Saints.

You don't take a team with the ability to destroy a good Colts and Ravens' team only to fail miserably and lose to the worst teams in the NFL (Bucs and Jets) and to nearly lose to the other horrible teams that everyone else caves in their skulls (Jags and TN). One loss or close game to a terrible team? It happens. 1-9 record to teams with .200 or worse winning records? Not acceptable. A massive failure at the head coach level. The fact that I expressed that the problem is so inherent and deplorable that it makes me just not care until the cancer is corrected is hard a non-football topic.
