It is not fair to say, but I think I am ready for Benny Snell football.

You know what you wrote. Don’t use a hall of fame players name and a 4th round pick who looked below average in the same sentence with the word logic.

He’s a 3rd strong back. Edmunds was more productive last night and he’d projected to be cut by those who predicted the 53 man roster.

Edmunds was more productive because you look at a stat line and think it tells the whole story.

Snell is exactly what I saw in college. He's a power runner. He's the type of RB that you put games away with. He isn't going to out run too many defenders in the NFL. But he can wear down a defense and make defenders not want to tackle him.

Also this is pre-season. You want to see some fun stuff go read the posts from last years pre-season. Rookies often look great or horrible in pre-season. Doesn't mean much when the season starts. If the Steelers wanted a workhorse RB then Snell is the guy. If they wanted a pass catching shifty agile RB then they drafted the wrong guy.

I think they knew exactly what they were looking for when they took him. I think I've read where he has shown better than expected pass catching skills in training camp.

I wanted to see him run through more tackles and not go down easy and was disappointed. It was his first game, so i am not going to change my expectations.

I saw one catch and run that looked nice.

Cut him....

He posts less probably a good thing, but still that huge butthead.

Still I like the less posting coach, keep up the good work coach.:bump2:

Why thanks. This is true. I have become a busier man at work and with the family. My family is either blessed or cursed with longevity and taking care our SR’s has tested some family ties.

For those in a similar situation the one that works best for us is renting out their house /condo and using that money for hired help with everybody chipping in the difference at the end of month. Don’t go the reverses mortgage route. The assets are simply put in the will for those willing to put in the commitment.

Less grinding on people here for me. I simply move on after the thread ends with facts, stats and 3rd party opinions. I’ll respect the reverse it’s just not seen as often here.

If people “think “ Snell looked good last night well okay they can have a wrong opinion.

With Bush looking like a rookie of the year candidate I am pumped. I see two guys who might be able to replace Dupree at a fraction of the cost in 2020. I also see a new safety that might prove to be a upgrade over you know who.

With no major injuries and two divas colored gone, we’ve got a chance for success this year.

His pass catch looked good, and he had two runs I thought he did well on. Don't dwell too much on one performance coach. We do need to see more from Snell.

It serves no purpose commenting on your personal strifes as that is out of bounds in this forum. Only best wishes for the situation involved.

Your grinding on this board is self inflicted, if not accurate. Please continue to “move on” when your diatribes are blown apart by “facts and stats”.....if you respect the reverse, then gladly do so, which mean you will be posting even less.

You apparently don’t realize that “wrong opinion” is an oxymoronic statement, which, however perfectly reflects your self-contradictory rhetoric.

Your observations, as usual is agenda driven with no actual basis. If Dupree goes wild and has double digit sacks, he will price himself out of us resigning him, if he ends up with less than 5 sacks he isn’t being resigned anyway. From which we draft a OLB next year. Ola, has a ways to go to fully replace Dupree production as a run/coverage defender and pass rusher. Don’t know who you saw since no one else played against the starters or 2nd team Jag OL. Are you even sure you watched the right game? What new safety was a stand out? Kam Kelly looked like he wasn’t lost, we know what Dangerfield brings and Allen will get his chance against much better players against KC.

...”two divas colored gone”.?........yes, you better respect the reverse and post less, neither are on the team so don’t care.

I think most RBs can catch these days. That's not his strength but I'm sure he can catch some if he needs to. He won't be like Bell in the pass catching department but he won't need to be. I think they drafted him to salt away games when they have a lead. And he fits perfectly in the role.

Young Money 2.0 .......not
3 Amigos ......... been done
Holy Trinity........no disrespect Lord but JC is already on the squad
Earth Wind & Fire..... not sure if they can carry a tune
Here Comes da Boom.....copyright issues

How about THE RENEGADES..... can I get a SNELL YEAH!!!!.......cuzz by end of season they will all be Wanted Men around the league

Bad company?
Three horsemen?

Maybe so "bigben" but Conner had more 20+ yard runs then Bell ever sniffed. Clocked speed and field speed are two different things. Conner proved better than bell so quit the mountain out of a dubbie hill.

And yes, Snell & Conner will be just fine.

Salute the nation
Except that is not true. Bell ran a 4.6 coming out as well.
