Ain't that the truth. I legitimately think he has turned the corner. After 3 games and still averaging 10 YPA isn't anything to sneeze at, even if playing bad competition. That's what a good-to-great QB SHOULD do playing bad defenses. It's unreal how necessary it is for the coach and QB to fit together. Jeff Fisher has ALWAYS been trash. Makes you wonder what Vince Young could have amounted to.

I was watching either Dilfer or Jaws or somebody talking about Goff in the offseason and they said it was unfair to say he's a bust. The host was shocked and pointed out how Goff was one of the worst QBs in history by all metrics.

Dilfer (or whoever) then explained that the offense under Fisher set Goff up to fail. They kept in extra blockers on most plays meaning Goff had only 2 receivers and if they were covered, he had nowhere to go with the ball. Many of their pass plays didn't even have a hot read or a checkdown available to him if the WR wasn't open.

When the NFL broadcast crew needs an NFL rules interpreter on hot standby to diagnose whether a player caught a football, your product is total ****!

My beef with the NFL started the day Goodell burned the Spy Gate evidence and allowed the Patriots to keep their championships. The evidence was so damning that it had to be burned to protect the shield. Why was Sean Peyton removed from his coaching position for full season over bounty-gate, but belichick didn't serve a single game suspension for spy gate nor deflate gate?

The game is jilted towards the offense, flags all over the field, far too many commercial breaks, political crybabies, players dressing like pimps, contract hold outs, early retirements, limited viewing markets, cheating, scandals, exploiting women, and gladiator sport that's been pussified to fit the new participation trophy generation.

For me the entitled cry baby players and their protests are the final straw to losing interest in a game that has been long coming. The flags on nearly every play, the patriots, the commercials, the acsension into flag football, etc etc. It has become worthless.
