Is it time for Mike Tomlin to go? No. That’s the short answer. Why? For many reasons. There is no better option Fans overreact. That is expected. The Steelers win a few in a row, “Mike Tomlin’s the GOAT,” but when they lose a couple, “Mike Tomlin should’ve been fired 3 years ago.” The truth […]

If he put them in the position to succeed, why did the Steelers offense not have at least an extra minute on the clock for the final drive last Sunday?

Fans overreact?? Our reaction isn't over one game. It's over multiple years of under-performing and poor decision making that has cost them games.

No better option? How do you know there is no better option? MT was a nobody when he was hired. A one year D coordinator.

dead last against the pass mind you

Some of us actually have a memory, not selective press memory by butt kissers of the crown. It's the same **** new year. Well, throw in more drama.

Confucius say, "better to bite tongue than chew ****." Or something like that.

You can see where this thread is going....Dri Archer level?

"The Steelers win a few in a row, 'Mike Tomlin’s the GOAT.'"

I don't believe that this profound level of asininity has ever been reached here. Not even by antdrew.

Exactly, and what was that defenses ranked? 18th in the NFL? I think so. Below average in terms of yards surrendered.

The “no better options” argument is absolutely asinine. Rams fans said that when they still had Jeff Fisher going 7-9 every year. We don’t know who the young up-and-coming geniuses or diamonds in the rough are, and neither does the person who wrote this

This. Some time in the past, Lombardi, Noll, Shula, Madden, Parcells and Belichick were “not better options”.

The thing that really gets me with the Tomlin appologists is they can never name something that he does well. They point to his overall record and never having a losing season but never what he does well.

Game planning....nope.

Clock management..... laughably bad.

In game adjustments.....no.

Drafting..... barely mediocre and that's probably being generous.

Player development....nope again.

Disciplinarian...... LMAO

So what does he do to be deserving of the head coaching position?

DaBus is back and writing for Steeler Nation!!!!!!

Another one?

These threads are hilarious, anybody that thinks the Rooney Rule Rooneys would ever fire Tomlin is on crack, he has that job for life
