Initial Thoughts bears Game

Not when you have a QB who can't throw a pass over 10 yards! Of course it's not all his fault when you go 4 wide with only 1 WR out there & 3 TE's.

Sure, it's Rudolph's fault.

Before then, it was Rodgers' fault, and Wilson's fault, and Fields' fault, and Pickett's fault, and Trubisky's fault, and Roethlisberger's, and Rudy's fault even before then. Incredible how the genius that is Mike Tomlin keeps getting stuck with horrible QB's.

QBs that he put on the roster no less.

And Howard has hardly practiced. He’s been on IR. You think the offense is limited now, put that guy in.
He practiced this week or not? as Aa Rod was limited. You didn’t draft the guy to not see what he is capable of. Good thing the Niners gave their late rounder a chance…

It is also a head coaches job to have Howard ready…

Too many missed chances. The dropped gift int gave the bears 3. Illegal formation at the end made us punt. Missed open WRs, etc etc.... In fairness the bears missed a lot of passes early on too. Still no excuse for a poor offensive performance. The Bears were missing guys who accounted for 30% of their total tackles and were down to their 7th / 8th LBs.

You’re right. Put him in. LOL.

Or we could just keep the deficient QB in and not know what they have in Howard at all come the NFL-draft.. you are right I like your choice better.LOL

Rudolph is just not a good QB. He doesn't belong on the roster. Especially when you have Skylar Thompson who is as good if not better!

Three short passes to the middle of the field, out of time outs. Brilliant! Why did they even fire Canada?
Canada was the worst OC I have ever saw yeah that bad…

I think Sky is still on IR…

He called that last drive. Or may as well have. Pathetic.
Oh I wasn’t high on any of the coaches on this game so can’t disagree..

Anyone blaming Mason is just looking for an excuse. They have a small ball offense he went where the play took him. He got picked off with a great interception. They singled a TE vs. Their best pass rushers.

He is who he is, a poor man’s O’Donnell. If Rodgers misses more time, start Howard and see what you have.

Seriously, any other team would eat this area alive with the entire linebacking unit out today, especially when all you have to throw to are tight ends and slot receivers.

Yes a really bad statistic.

This is what needs to be talked about because 2 years ago....Matt Canada was to blame for this type of passing chart.....week in, week out! Matt Canada is NOT here anymore....so who is to blame?

Howard is not getting reps in practice. A handful at most being behind Rodgers and Rudolph. He’s just come off IR a few weeks ago, he’s not getting reps, and putting him in today would have done nothing but set him up for failure. He’s not ready.

Now if he gets a week or two taking reps with the 1’s or the 2’s, maybe. But 3rd string QB’s don’t typically get many physical practice reps. And if you put him in without those reps, you are not going to know what you have. He’s not going to succeed that way.

I’d like to see Howard too, but until he’s ready, no. They’ll ruin him just like they did Kenny Pickett. I don’t want this coaching staff anywhere near involved in developing any rookie, least of all the QB.
