If Tomlin was fired, here's who we could get. Give us your top 5 names,

1 ) Bill Cowher, for three years, if he wants the job. Problems solved, Cowher was 5-1 with Ben in the playoffs. Tomlin 3-5 in his last eight playoff games with Ben. A short term move that could yield a Lombardi.

2 ) Josh McDaniels. The Patriot's offensive coordinator. When was the last time you saw New England beat themselves, or call a horse crap Todd Haley like play? He's a winner, and it would steal talent from our chief rival. At age 41, he has a chance to be a great one. I'd take him over Tomlin in a heartbeat.

3 ) Todd Walsh, Jacksonville's defense coordinator, was 2nd over all in giving up just 286.1 yards a game. You have to admire they way Jax plays defense, and his style fits what is needed today.

4 ) Joe Woods, Broncos. He did impressive work in Tampa in 2004-2005 as the DC. " In 2005, the Buccaneers boasted the NFL's top defensive unit (277.8 ypg)—including the league's sixth-ranked pass defense (183.1 ppg)—while finishing 11-5 and capturing the NFC South Division title. Barber set a team single-season record for most tackles (120) by a cornerback and led the club with five interceptions. " As Denver's DC, they were third overall. Woods is also a local PA guy and only 47 years old.

5 ) Pat Shurmur, the Vikings offensive coordinator, has done an excellent job with less than remarkable talent. He could handle the play calling.

It seems the minority owners of the Steelers want him fired as well. Unfortunately they have no power.

We don't know what Art thinks, but I'm sure he will listen to these men. Collectively they have a good amount of power.

Fans who want to win a super bowl should want Tomlin out.

Tomlin isn't going anywhere yet I'm. Hopefully the D staff is. 2 or 3 seems like a good option. If in a bazarro world Tomlin was let go I would wait to see the outcome of 2 and 3s matchup. And go with the Victor. But back to reality and yinz better served thinking about new coordinators coacherooney.

:jagoff: Yeah, cause fans that support Tomlin and the organization don't want to win a Super Bowl.

10 Years since the last one despite being favored or more talented almost every year. Obviously keeping Tomlin is more important that winning a SB or finding a coach that can. :frusty: :jagoff:

Yeah we know what Art 2 thinks....same as his dad. Yeah as majority owner he will listen. That is it. You are clueless if you think Limited Partners have any power in the team's football operations. They have absolutely none.

You really like making points with zero proof. Okay " Ike " Rooney, whatever you say. Sure Art won't listen to any of the minority owners. Never, ever, not a word!

Keep thinking that.

More like smart fans who support the Steelers know he's a reason why they don't win the super bowl. I've never meet a Steeler fan who wants them to lose in the playoffs. Not one.
