I predict Samuels will have a good debut as the starting back

When watching film, I was most excited for Samuels coming to this team. I'm glad to see the Steelers have figured out how to use his talents, though I'm still surprised they turned him into a promising running back. Thought for sure he'd be a slot receiver. Best hands out of the backfield I've seen on a RB since Faulk.

It will be interesting how they divvy up Conner and JaySam's carries moving forward.

He needs to work on his pass protection. Other than that he's been a pleasant surprise. Now if we can just get our bull Conner back out there this team can do some things.

Definitely does. I'm surprised he is serviceable, since he never did it in college. Then again, he never ran for 130yds in HS or College either.

Looking forward to him spelling Conner and hopefully even on the field together for short yardage/goal line plays.

It will be and HOPEFULLY the divy them up so each one is fresh and NOT getting their wheels ran off.

Salute the nation

Short yardage plays need Rosie Nix on the field. I will beat that drum as loud as possible. I hate that we stay away from Nix on offense. Its a mistake to not use him to blow up a linebacker in the hole for our RB

The only issue we have when we bring Nix in, we ALWAYS run out of the I-Formation and we never throw the ball out of that formation. It is a dead give away. If we ever run a play action pass out of that formation we will have at least one WR or TE WIDE OPEN down the field.

Make them stop the run with Nix in the I. I don't care if they know its coming. Nix is a banger.

This! Spend that Bell money on Jalen Samuels in the off season. OMG! We would have a secondary to talk GOOD about.

What are you talking about? The Steelers have him for very cheap on his rookie contract. Teams that win super bowls these days do not spend 15+ million at the running back positon. With two good guys, we can spend the Bell money elsewhere.

Willie Parker had but 181 yards on the ground for his last season. Maybe if your a running back at North Carolina, or North Carolina state, the coaches just aren't using you correctly!

He meant the Jags Ramsey but accidentally morphed JaySam into his genealogical tree.

Ah, okay. I want Jalen Ramsey. I don't care if cost the Steelers a 1st and 3rd round pick. He's the best corner in the game with a cap number of $7,429,863 for 2019.

With one elite corner, and another very good one, the Steelers would be a difficult team to pass on, and we can afford to play different types of coverages.
