I know I am beating a dead horse but HOW DO WE GET INTO THE END ZONE?

Why do people pick one game, and automatically think that we will only score by FG the rest of the year. I have been hearing that all day. Why are people signaling out the KC game, and have no mention of the Miami game? We are averaging 26 a game this season..

It's known as the Error of Recency. Humans give too much weight to the most recent event.

And honestly how many more dumbasses need to make the statement "we're not going to beat the Patriots with field goals." That **** is obvious and has already been said by every Steeler fan on the planet.

And who else is going to be wrong about basic history like "Ben never beats Brady in the playoffs" which of course was one meeting in 2004 and Tomlin has never faced the Pats in the playoffs.

No one is talking about who is a better running back. That is without question. What I would say is that Bell is a vision/ patience runner. D'will gets to the hole. When you are running around the goal line, patience is not a virtue. Re watch how this team played around the ten in those first 4 games or so. I think you will see a distinct difference.

It's just ******* wrong. The idea that DWill does anything on the football field as well as Bell is just ******* wrong.

Mix the plays up and be unpredictable no matter where you are on the field. One play we have been abandoning a lot recently and especially in the KC game was the screen or short pass to Bell out of the backfield. You could even try a shovel pass to him. Running up the middle is not recommended on more than a few occasions.

AB needs to catch that td throw. With the way Bell was running, the pass call on 1st and goal was a mistake IMO. 29-17 outcome is more indicative of how the game went.

You could have D Will and Bell in the same backfield, with the ability to shift Bell to receiving positions or
hand-off to either one. Would be something new that pats won't prepare for.

Green would be a huge asset, but he isn't playing. That guy will retire after the season.

It's not that we are BAD in the red zone but it is not like we are good either. I just wanted to know what ideas we have to punch it in and come away with 7 instead of 3. I don't think we should throw the baby out with the bathwater but I think putting a few red zone wrinkles into the game plan would be wise. I mean if don't work in practice don't do it in the game but try a few plays in practice see if it gets you into the end zone and see if we can catch the Cheats off guard.

we'll see a lot of plays they didn't want to use in KC to keep them from bellycheat

Ok look, our issues on the road are all stemming from tge ability to correctly communicate changes at the line... no i dont know why... Ben modifies playcalls a ton at home... they have a 72% scoring rate in the red zone... that number drops to 34% on the road... its clear we take advantage of defensive weak spots better at home than away, it could also be the line gets off cleaner on blocks, but thats not worth 40 percentage points...... we tend to be more conservative on the road in playcalls too... we dont try to force stuff quite as much in execution......

I don't see a problem with scoring on New England. We had two dropped passes in the end zone at Arrowhead. Also on the pass with Houston in coverage on AB he had to hold up to catch the ball. Had Ben gotten a little bit more on that pass AB scores easily.

The pass that was batted and picked look like six if the LB didn't get his hand on it too.
KC has the more talented players on defense, I don't care that NE is #1, look at the list of qb's that D faced.

Who is this Green person you speak of?
