I have to say, I actually enjoyed Romo's commentary during the game

HES a better commmetator then he was QB

And

I also like Romo. Simms was fine with me, he just dumbed down his terminology. Romo did a better job at explaining defensive strategy and offensive strategy that a casual fan or non fan could follow.

#1 He's entertaining
#2 He's well informed and has a vast knowledge of the game, packages, sub packages, and trends out of them.
#3 He can read a Defense
#4 He's great at explaining complex schemes, to make them understandable for laymen.
#5 I don't want to turn the sound on mute when he's on.

If I'm learning something listening to him, he's worth listening to.

Yeah. Romo is very decent. I enjoy his commentary too.

He knows his stuff. A smart guy. You have to wonder why he made so many mistakes as a player though...he's not a dolt.

To be fair, as a commentator he gets to break down things and sees the entire scheme, etc.
As a player, I'm sure he understood the schemes, just when you're down there in the action, easier said than done
