I usually use reddit. We get a number of games here in Va, but I'll get less this year. I live right in between DC and Richmond so the local TV providers give locals from both cities, increasing the odds of getting the game. (
However, I too cut the cord with Verizon, but did sign up for YouTube TV. We love it, but I only get DC locals now. I also lost the NFL Network, but my plan for that is to sign up for a free trial on a streaming service that offers it when they play on the NFL Network. ... or, I signed into the NFL app on my phone prior to dropping Verizon, so I can watch there.
I can't see myself ever going back to traditional cable. I couldn't get them to budge on price. They wouldn't even drop the equipment charges after paying them about 4,000 in rental fees over the years. YouTube TV gives me 3 simultaneous streams, unlimited cloud DVR, and 70 channels for $50.
