I think it's safe to say no team is dominant this season. It was the Chiefs for the first 5 weeks then they lose 3 of 4. The Eagles and Steelers both are benefiting from crap divisions this year and the Pats division is always one of the easier ones. Teams like the Raiders, Broncos, and even Cowboys were supposed to take a step forward but seem to have taken a step back. Rodgers is out so the Packers are basically done. It's tough to see how the Jags will keep winning with a turnover machine at QB. Sherman is out for Seattle so their D should be vulnerable and they have no O-line.
IMO there are only 3 teams that have a realistic shot at going to the SB from the AFC - Pats, Steelers and KC - I would be extremely surprised if it wasn't one of those 3.
The NFC is much more open with about 6 or 7 teams with a realistic shot at going to the SB. To be honest, the Saints, Eagles, and even the Rams scare me more than the Pats this year. They all have explosive offenses with good defenses (yes, even the Saints). Those teams are averaging 30ppg...we haven't even put up 30 in a game all season.
