Hope our guys enjoy playing in Foxboro in January

Does not seem like it. The Pats have a sense of urgency every game, every down on offense. We do not have that. I don't see us beating them in the playoffs. I hope I am wrong.
Doom and gloom blah blah blah

you seen the margins on some of their wins? 7 over the jets? 3 over the Texans, 5 over TB...that **** is unacceptable here, why does it make Bellicheck a genius?

they are 7-2, just like us. 5 of those wins are against teams that are under .500.

He is a genius, he cheats and gets away with it. Not being canned from the sport after multiple infractions. I hate those cheating *******.

Ark no facts please.. you been here long enough to know better. Last warning

I think it's safe to say no team is dominant this season. It was the Chiefs for the first 5 weeks then they lose 3 of 4. The Eagles and Steelers both are benefiting from crap divisions this year and the Pats division is always one of the easier ones. Teams like the Raiders, Broncos, and even Cowboys were supposed to take a step forward but seem to have taken a step back. Rodgers is out so the Packers are basically done. It's tough to see how the Jags will keep winning with a turnover machine at QB. Sherman is out for Seattle so their D should be vulnerable and they have no O-line.

IMO there are only 3 teams that have a realistic shot at going to the SB from the AFC - Pats, Steelers and KC - I would be extremely surprised if it wasn't one of those 3.

The NFC is much more open with about 6 or 7 teams with a realistic shot at going to the SB. To be honest, the Saints, Eagles, and even the Rams scare me more than the Pats this year. They all have explosive offenses with good defenses (yes, even the Saints). Those teams are averaging 30ppg...we haven't even put up 30 in a game all season.

our team seems to be bi-polar between games and, sometimes, within a game. The offense is an enigma and it ain't just the play calling.

unlike most here, my vagina/******* doesn't tighten up at the thought of playing and/or losing to the *'s in the regular season. It is the playoffs that matter.

The Steelers come unglued against Brady. Until they beat them in the playoffs, I ain't putting on my Rose colored glasses..

I'll take the win, ugly as it was. Gotta turn our focus to the Titans who are 6-3 with a certain D coordinator named LeBeau

That didn't start in 2007, though, it has been a phenomenon (I think that is plural?) For a couple of decades.

they lost to the Chiefs and Panthers ... at home.
Somehow both those teams overcame the radio (in)frequency issues and other associated bullshit in Foxboro. In fact, they were blown out in their season-opening loss, and barely beat a rookie QB at home then being held to under 20 vs the hapless Bucs defense. I wonder if any of their fans are shoveling **** onto Belichick's lawn?

Steelers come out slow hardly blitzing at all in the first half. Everybody playing like crap. Then they open up more in the 2nd half and the players seem to get their act together.. It's the same routine every game. I haven't a ****'n clue why they do this, but I believe it is part of why the games are always close with **** teams. You can't do that against the "*****" or it will be game over before half time. We have seen that happen before with them.

I think the Rams are having a good season, but not sure on the big stage will they be ready. I would give the Eagles and the Saints the nod when the chips are down.

And out of the two I like the Saints. Not sure if that perspective will change. We'll see.

Pats D has miraculously improved significantly. ( we know why)

How they don't scare you, they still are the team to beat when you combine good coaching with cheating. It can give you the edge more often than not.

And Brady is also leading the league in passing yards so there is that.

Hopefully we have a cushion before we play the patriots. If we lose we lose. If we win we win. It really doesn't matter. IT ONLY MATTERS IF WE BEAT THEM IN THE PLAYOFFS. Winning in the regular season means ****. Playing them at home means ****. Know why because it doesnt bother them one bit where they play us. We have to beat them when it matters and the venue doesn't mean a ******* thing.

Except for 2006 in Detroit. Detroit became Pittsburgh for a weekend.
One of my best friends was a big Bus fan, from his time with ND and the Lambs.
I told him in early October, 2005, that The Bus would retire Feb 6th, 2006 at home in Detroit.
He thought i was crazy, lol.

To be fair, I made this thread in the middle of the game when it looked like we were on our way to a sure loss

"In January" was a reference to the playoffs, because losing these ****** games during the reg season cost us playoff positioning and forces us to play tough playoff road games that could have easily been home games had we taken care of business when needed

Luckily my pessimism was overturned by a Steelers W, and for that I am ashamed at my lack of faith in the guys mid-game. But I am still discouraged by their play and hoping they pick it up down the stretch again as they did last year

I was positive for both us lol

I am positive every ******* game. To be otherwise is pointless. Just my opinion of what a fan should be.

I am a believer in thought waves influencing outcomes. No need for negative ones.

Bite me., :)
