Why do some of you here feel compelled to start with the name calling. It’s a difference of opinion on this and that’s fine. We don’t have to agree. You stated your point, I stated mine and that’s all there is to it.
You and I and everyone on this board have no idea of the inner working of this or any NFL team. All we do here is for the most part is speculate because we actually do not know how things work.
My point was and remains that Tomlin who happens to be the HC needs to be aware of what’s going on with his team and take corrective actions to fix it. I can only speculate, remember I’m speculating that Tomlin has the control to add and subtract players being that’s he’s the head coach.
I would also speculate that he talks with Colbert on such decisions and just feel as though poor judgement was made with the handling of the Harrison ordeal. As head coach Tomlin should not have promised the man 25% of the snaps and then not use the guys. When the man asked to be released then make a decision and let him move on.
On Porter we disagree again, but it’s ok, really it is.
I don’t think he really brings much as a coach but you obviously do, and neither of our opinions really matter now. He only has to please one man.

And what exaxtly makes you think Tomlin doesnt know or didnt know James Harrison was acting like a ***** since training camp?? I keep saying this was a damned if you do damned if you dont type situation. Do you give playing time to someone acting like a dick. Not only give playing create a new scheme to give him playing time because the reason he isnt playing is because you dont feel he can execute what you are asking your OLBs to do. What message is that sending to the rest of the team. To me the fact that he dealt with it all year and it never became a distraction to his team he should be commended.
