YOU COULD CLEARLY SEE ON SUNDAY HE WAS WHINING AND BITCHING ABOUT NOT PLAYING TO A FELLOW TEAM MATE ON THE SIDELINE DURING THE GAME.....

I'm wondering if any of you actually watched the Baltimore game. Harrison could NOT contain the run to his side, he could NOT rush the passer, he could NOT cover the TE/RB. He did nothing that game. They even put him in over Bud on the final play, put TJ on the other side and TJ beat Harrison from the other side of the field to Flacco.

I loved Harrison too, but he was done. He might be weight room strong, but his football skills are no longer there. He was also becoming a cancer in the locker room. He wasn't being a leader, he was whining about not playing, constantly poking fun at the coaching staff for not playing him, opening said he wouldn't have signed with us if he had known this is how the year would go... You don't want that attitude around your younger guys. It's not helpful to anyone. He has shown to be a very selfish player, and clearly holds no loyalty.

I'm sorry, but he's not going to help the Cheats at all, not even for information. They already have all that info on film...

Obviously he has a vendetta against the Steelers for being snubbed.
Harrison has been on this team longer than anyone besides Ben and knows the playbook and signals inside out.
You say they already had the tape on us?They had the steelers tape from spygate in 2007.
I would think after spygate the Steelers changed up signals and anything else the Pats had tape on. Would you disagree?

James Harrison is shot, and has been shot since we released him years ago. Its not about what he is capable of doing on the field.

Its the fact that the steelers orginization gift wrapped a 10+ year Vet with a wealth of information for the winningest coach in the history of the league who is famous for using inside information/ video tapes against their opponents.

The locker room is something none of us can account for or know anything about. Roethlisberger said he was shocked by the move. I would have told him to go home before I released him though. Point was made prior to the game Monday that Pouncey and Smith were carried on the active with literally no chance tgey would play because of injury.

He is the Steelers all time sack leader, one of the greatest to wear the black and gold.

I haven't seen any verified reports that Deebo caused a cancer in the locker room. I haven't seen verified reports where he asked to be released. We have magical Steve who can read lips and body language. So I guess THAT's something.

Harrison has always been among our most loved players. And you ******* 2 faced ******* turn on him the instant he signs with another team? A team that says they'll give him the opportunity to compete. For a ring no less?

Is it a crime of Harrison to have some pride? To believe he can still contribute?

No wonder Terry Bradshaw hates Pittsburgh. You people really do eat your own. Some of you have no ******* loyalty or respect whatsoever. This is James Harrison. Deebo. All Time Sack Leader? And he could have more if he was played more. Sure, he may not be the best fit for the new defense. Sure, he never gets his holding call flags thrown. (I'm about 93% sure he will now though.) Being loyal to the Steelers means you're loyal to both the organization AND the coaches and players that help make it up. You can *****. You can gripe when they don't do as well as or even what you think they ought to. And it's fair to recognize that maybe a player or two isn't able to contribute like they once could. But you DON'T, I repeat you do NOT revert to full on ***** mode when they get cut unceremoniously in the middle of a very special season and then go find themselves a new job.

You should also keep in mind that Tomlin only has 1 guy to get rid of now. Just one. We'd best ride that ************ out on a rail to eh? Maybe they can cut his *** before the playoffs as well.

There are ways to do things and ways not to do them. What they did with Harrison was a great example of how NOT to do things. If Harrison had truly asked for his release, then a public statement should have been made before-hand saying as much in order to clarify to the entire fanbase that Harrison was looking for an opportunity to compete for a ring and he wasn't going to get that here. No harm, no foul.

Instead, the FO has thrown Harrison under the bus so anything he does makes him look bad. Well **** that. Tomlin said Harrison's time will come. We just failed to understand what he meant.

The steelers havent said a word. Just said they needed a roster spot. So where have they thrown him under the bus???
 
Why jump all over the Steelers without knowing what actually happened? They may be handling this exactly the way James wanted it handled. He certainly hasn't expressed any anger over it.

Who knows, and who cares. Time to move on.
 
if anything, the Steelers did Harrison a favor by releasing him so he can continue to play. Everyone that gets fired would seek employment the same or next day. It is what it is. Seeing him in Patriot colors is unnerving and it sucks, but he still wants to play. He wasn't doing it here and he was released. I thought maybe there was an agreement to comeback, but it doesn't look like it now. I really don't see the issue, other than he went to the enemy. Life sucks, wear a helmet.

First Ayers now Harrison, he is perfect fit for there offense he will probably score 2-3 TDs against us, 2nd coming of Welker.
Oh yeah they cut him. I see the same thing in James future.
