The Patriots just wanted confirmation that their Steeler’s playbook and practice footage is authentic. Considering their record against us, I’m not sure why they would be worried. Although, that last game was pretty close.

To me its not about Tomlin hate. Its about love for Harrison. Tombett didnt have to do this. Especially this late in the season. This was purposeful as a reaction to exchanged words. So now the greatest sack leader in steelers history is gone to the most hated team of us all. Bellicheck isn't dumb. He has a plan to use him. Just like the steelers could have. man **** a Deebo, he bitched like a school girl until he got his way.

Instead of being a team player he acted like a *****. He gets no sympathy from me.

My guess is Harrison asked to be released so he can go somewhere he'll actually play. Can't blame him for signing anywhere that will take him. Why the hell are people mad at Harrison? He gets benched and then cut and he's supposed to turn down an opportunity to possibly play in the Super Bowl? Out of some sense of loyalty to the fans? Loyalty to a team that signs him but won't play him? I'm not delusional enough to think any player would do that.

I also can't blame Tomlin for getting rid of a guy who's not going to play and isn't happy about it. Who needs that energy around?

Harrison might play ok, he might even get a sack. Is he going to win the game for the Patriots? Of course not. It all sucks for sentimental reasons but I highly doubt it has much impact on the game at all.

Lol, Suggs is a starter... Harrison played 40 snaps this season.... you are comparing apples to carrots.

Move on... this holding onto players out of loyalty garb is what got Dick Lebaeu the axe. You can't believe that you are going to stay on top with the same players yr in and yr out. Besides this is the second breakup. Beyond time to move on.

I find it funny to hear thoughts of how Harrison will help the Patriots with the Steelers Defense. Silly. Brady owns this defense. I don't think they need help with deciphering the Steelers defensive schemes. Harrison is about Harrison. He doesn't give a damn about the Steelers, he doesn't give a damn about being a 'locker room leader'. He wants his and he wants paid. He didn't get his 'snaps' due to Watt's amazing year. Boo hoo. The Yinzer mentality is strong with this crowd. Holding onto memories of greatness. He was a great player. It's time for James Harrison to get on with his life's work.

reminds me of the Blount fiasco, look ****** you are getting paid, you signed a contract, you don't like that you aren't playing? tough ****, you signed a deal whre there was no guarantees of you playing. Accept your choices (signing a contract) and respect it ultil end of the season, act like a GD professional.

Wasn't about him getting paid they gave him peanuts, he wanted to play and as going to be a locker room cancer until he got his way one way or another.
