Field Level 6, Row 8.
Enjoy! I've had many good trips over there. Charger fans roll over and play dead after getting beat.
Was my first choice for a game this year. Could get neither an air mile flight nor face value tickets. Didn't happen. Been twice though. good place to see a game. San Diego is the nicest place in So Cal. I was there in '05 when it looked like Ben blew up his knee. Celebrated on the plane when they said it was just sprained. then they won the SB.
I remember that game. Ben with a long completion on the play where he was hurt, leading to the game-winning field goal.
I also recall that the defender came in low, at Ben's knees, and caused the injury. The NFL did not say **** about that play or Ben's injury.
3 years later, T*mmy Defl*tor has a defender come in low, hurts knee, and the NFL institutes a new rule.
Sometimes, you just have to say ... @#$% you, NFL.
Actually he was hurt in the third quarter when they were leading. Charlie Batch came in and led the game winner.
I am going off memory here - and no, you are confused.
Ben threw the pass that led to the game-winning field goal, very late in the 4th quarter.
I have NOT looked this up yet, but I recall Charlie coming in and losing 2 yards on a running play, at which point the Steelers kicked the damn ball.
Now I look it up:
Roethlisberger was helped off the field with an apparent knee injury shortly before Jeff Reed kicked a 40-yard field goal with 6 seconds left to give the Steelers a 24-22 win over the San DiegoChargers on Monday night.

Batch had no pass attempts that game.
Yeah you got me there. I remember being sick about it for what seemed a long time so I assumed it happened earlier than it did. I know I was excited about the win, but it was very much tempered by the fact that it looked like Ben was done. A couple of other things I remember were that Harrison was filling in for Porter I believe, and he had an amazing interception where he leaped over Tomlinson. After being at the Tampa game last year (Harrison's return) I've kinda always felt like I was there for his big break into the league and his return to the Steelers. Though I'm sure someone can burst that bubble of my memory as well. Another thing I remeber was that there was a ridiculous call on a punt where the SD returned muffed the ball. The Steeler caught it in the air and they said you had to give the returner a chance to retain his own blunder. It wasn't a fumble till it hit the ground. My bad on the Roethlisberger injury though..I am going off memory here - and no, you are confused.

With that sort of memory/mind, I hope that you can contribute a lot to society!!!
Just don't become a lawyer -- do something good for the people!!!
Maybe I'll see you there. LOL Going to that game too.
Mrs. Fan and I will be there. That's my home town, and I used to run a fan club there. There are a bunch of Steelers bars there. Should be a Steelers home game for sure.
You mean you will be at the San Diego game, Djfan? Four of us are taking the day off to tailgate and enjoy the day.
What are your plans?
