Got our tickets to October 12, 2015 at San Diego

Enjoy! I've had many good trips over there. Charger fans roll over and play dead after getting beat.

That's no fun!!!!

Was my first choice for a game this year. Could get neither an air mile flight nor face value tickets. Didn't happen. Been twice though. good place to see a game. San Diego is the nicest place in So Cal. I was there in '05 when it looked like Ben blew up his knee. Celebrated on the plane when they said it was just sprained. then they won the SB.

I remember that game. Ben with a long completion on the play where he was hurt, leading to the game-winning field goal.

I also recall that the defender came in low, at Ben's knees, and caused the injury. The NFL did not say **** about that play or Ben's injury.

3 years later, Tammy Deflator has a defender come in low, hurts knee, and the NFL institutes a new rule.

Sometimes, you just have to say ... @#$% you, NFL.

Actually he was hurt in the third quarter when they were leading. Charlie Batch came in and led the game winner. there was a huge Mellie between Steelers fans and some Chargers fans. My wife's cousin's husband was with me at the game and snagged a terrible towel off the ground for me (at the time it was pretty tough to get one in Saskatoon! I felt sheepish, but two SB's later can't say its been bad luck. My seats at the game (October 10th), Section 10, Row 10, Seat Ten, on the 10 yard line. No **** not a word of a lie. I still have the ticket framed.

I am going off memory here - and no, you are confused.

Ben threw the pass that led to the game-winning field goal, very late in the 4th quarter.

I have NOT looked this up yet, but I recall Charlie coming in and losing 2 yards on a running play, at which point the Steelers kicked the damn ball.

Now I look it up:

Roethlisberger was helped off the field with an apparent knee injury shortly before Jeff Reed kicked a 40-yard field goal with 6 seconds left to give the Steelers a 24-22 win over the San DiegoChargers on Monday night.

Batch had no pass attempts that game.

With that sort of memory/mind, I hope that you can contribute a lot to society!!!

Just don't become a lawyer -- do something good for the people!!!

I'll have my sixteen year old son with me at the HOF induction. I have tickets to the game Sunday night but I just started a new job so that won't work now. Still trying to figure out which regular season game to hit, I've never had a bad time at a game regardless of the stadium it was in. It's worth it just to meet up with some of the folks from here. Some........

Yeah you got me there. I remember being sick about it for what seemed a long time so I assumed it happened earlier than it did. I know I was excited about the win, but it was very much tempered by the fact that it looked like Ben was done. A couple of other things I remember were that Harrison was filling in for Porter I believe, and he had an amazing interception where he leaped over Tomlinson. After being at the Tampa game last year (Harrison's return) I've kinda always felt like I was there for his big break into the league and his return to the Steelers. Though I'm sure someone can burst that bubble of my memory as well. Another thing I remeber was that there was a ridiculous call on a punt where the SD returned muffed the ball. The Steeler caught it in the air and they said you had to give the returner a chance to retain his own blunder. It wasn't a fumble till it hit the ground. My bad on the Roethlisberger injury though..

Too funny.

Steeltime uses his memory to do something good for the people in his house.

The law been berry, berry good to Steeltime. :nevreness:

Got my tickets to the Steelers-Chiefs game in KC on 10-25. Gonna be a great game. From what I have seen of Chiefs fans, they are pretty easy going. They will talk trash, but it's friendly midwestern trash.

Mrs. Fan and I will be there. That's my home town, and I used to run a fan club there. There are a bunch of Steelers bars there. Should be a Steelers home game for sure.

You mean you will be at the San Diego game, Djfan? Four of us are taking the day off to tailgate and enjoy the day.

What are your plans?

Not sure totally. Would love to see you all. The Steel City Mafia will be there big, and we will be doing that for sure. Mrs. Fan and I started all the SCM stuff in CA, so we really need to be there. Let's stay in touch though.

Tix on stubhub for this game are higher than any other game I can remember looking at. They know Steeler fans are coming and are charging top dollar. Crazy ****.

Section 328 Row 5. Looks like the 5-10 yard line on the home side upper level.

If time, we should meet up for a beer prior to the game. Kiddo and I are coming in that day and leaving after the game.

Absolutely, our family of four will be there decked out in white aways (buying the wife an AB white). We get in on Saturday. Will definitely be at the stadium early to see warm up etc.

I will be wearing my home 43 jersey. Thinking that kiddo will be wearing her Pouncey one. I hope to be there by 10. It's a 3 hour drive from where I live, so it's gonna be a long *** day.
