GOP debate this Thursday

Trump owned it.

There is a reason why Trump is doing so well..... People are sick and tired of the PC answers and side stepping apologists.

He has plenty to learn, but he keeps gaining support and pretty soon it won't be so taboo to vote for him.

I can see Trump bringing in a Christie as his VP.

Or he could tap Christie as an attorney general.

Christie would make an outstanding attorney general, and Bem Carson perhaps a good surgeon general. The VP Pick for Trump will need to be a seasoned politician in a swing state. No Sarah Palin's'!

Rubio or Kasich are good choices.

What about Rudy Guliani as a VP?

God I love Patton Oswalt, really nails it on the head. Preach on, brother.

Help me out on this, everyone, even though I'm feeling pretty good this morning after watching last night's GOP debate.

It feels like it's over for Trump. Not in a humiliating, cinematic, people-throwing-tomatoes kind of way. It's more of a quiet, awkward, "Oh, this was just a lark for him" kind of feeling, especially from the audience at the debate. The coyote howls of approval and the boos of disapproval began colliding with each other in such a queasy mash-up that, in the end, it felt like the audience wordlessly decided they need to move on. Like that moment, when the fifth or sixth or whatever Death Wish movie came out, and even the most die-hard, single digit IQ fans were left muttering, "This is just the same ******* bullshit."

Trump will plummet in the polls now. These next few weeks will be like a sad deflating of an already cheap balloon. And he'll suddenly act like his business empire means more to him, and he'll clomp away. And everyone will shrug their shoulders and chuckle at how ha ha isn't it funny we almost made that guy president. Yeah. Huh. Whatever.

The GOP will nominate Bush and blandly lose in November and they'll try to figure out someone to put up in 2020.

But the Trump circus is over. People aren't even going to watch the workers roll up the tent.

Now I just hope Bernie gets nominated and wins.

HA!!!! That moron is almost as stupid as you are. Almost.

So the two weak sisters on stage, Jeb and Kasich, were in agreement in their bleatings about how temporary restrictive immigration policies against Muslims would "send a bad signal" to our imaginary future Muslim country allies in the war against radical Islam. Hey boys, news flash, no Muslim coalition is going to solve our problem for us. We need to solve it forcefully, and those countries will line up behind our power, not the other way around. And if they don't that's ok too. Couple of ******* *******.

Jeb in particular was doing a lot of hand wringing last night. Really worried that tariffs or trade actions generally against China would make China mad and they would retaliate by doing things like not buying our corn, etc. Assmunch! They need corn more than we need TVs. China wants a trade war with us? Bring it ******* on right now. They are barely above water right now. Regardless, we get to be forceful in enforcing fair trade practices. We don't have to be the ******* doormat for everyone else. This is Trump's point. I wish he would have pointed out how scared Jeb seemed about every important decision. He called him weak, but really Jeb came off as scared about everything.

I will gladly watch the US stockpilele east sell all the oil they have for cheap all our export food, because China gets pissy. I do believe that they need the food more than we need their cheap **** products. I would also like to see the US keep the ban on exporting our oil. Let the middle east sell all their oil cheap, when they run out we can then use ours.
