I have to say I love the jets, them and Thier incredibly stupid fan base keep me entertained. I was even fat *** sexy rexy for Halloween just to piss off the local ******** fan base

Well who is really smarter? These guys or the ******-up J-E_T_S who draft a LB'er in the 6'th round who had been arrested for assaulting a policeman. Why would you draft a moron like that to begin with? Tod Bowles or Blows wont belong for the Jets with drafting decisions like that.

It’s early in the Geno Smith broken jaw saga, so most of the reaction is knee-jerk. Details are scarce, which means plenty of mockery. The Jets remain a laughingstock. 1) Having just seen Cam Newton fight with a defender in Carolina, is it reasonable to think the Jets had a talk about this? Hey guys, we don’t fight our QB.

2) Why is the QB talking smack to a backup LB and wagging a finger in his face?

3) Why did nobody step in to tell Geno to chill when this was happening?

4) These eruptions can happen in an instant … or perhaps something was brewing. The first time a guy puts a finger in your face, do you punch him out? Or was this not the first time?

Jets fans have questions.

if that account from rapoport is accurate, and geno was in his face, putting his finger in his face, fully aware of this LB's presence, then it wasn't a "sucker-punch"
 
That is why you pay back your debts. But id still take a NFL's season wage over $600 any day.

LOL. But seriously if QBs been known to play with torn acl's and defenders with broken or missing fingers, why cant a QB play with a broken jaw? I'd imagine it'd make calling cadance more difficult but shouldn't effect their play at all. Ben's played with a broken nose, broken pinky, bruised ribs etc. Geno is just being a baby.

Dumbest pre season story in the last 10 years! Team is dysfunctional, how does this happen without other veterans stepping in to protect their QB? Just another example why "character" counts when selecting players to become a team. Go Steelers!

Lb'er was dumb but sounds like Geno is a douche as well.

Agree to go to the guys camp but then your brother gets injured so you go to the hospital, that is fair enough but apparently there was a guy waiting at the airport to pick Geno up for two hours so he obviously didn't even bother contacting the guy saying he couldn't make it to his camp.

Agreed to reimburse him but didn't, obviously a douche.
