I don't think Archer was being targeted was being dictated from the sidelines.
I think some of it was, but others it looked like he was the only one Jones was comfortable throwing to.

That is what I see. He finds contact. There was no excuse tonight to not rip off some type of big play. He is a bust. The Steelers attempts at super shifty little guys haven't worked when Antwan Randle El is the best of the bunch. Amos Zeroue and Rainey were worse.Dri Archer has to win the return jobs or else he will contribute little. He just goes down way too easily to be a RB. I've never seen a guy get so little out of breakaway speed.
He has no vision as an open field runner. When he gets the ball, he sees the closest tackler and then simply tries to outrun him to the edge and this either traps him to the boundary or runs him into another tackler.
I think they need to start trying him at WR. Or just make him concentrate on returns. Put him off to the side catching punts off the jugs machine.
