Everything that I hear on the terrible podcast and Steeler Nation Radio station says that he has improved drasticly. He looks decent running with the 1st team and there is no chance that any of the others will beat him out. They are just really bad. We will see soon enough I guess.

Boykin I think is going to pay dividends to this evolving D.

Can't wait for the extremes of another preseason game thread with players switching from hall of fame to bum, and the steelers going from SB Champs to winless on a drive by drive basis.

I'm hoping the starting OL plays at least a few drives and they might as they'll want a look at Landry and DeAngelo Williams with starters.

I want to see Wheaton take a step up.
Jesse James with some receiving chances
Somebody in the front 7 not named Harrison or Heyward look like a real NFL pass rusher.
Shamarko look competent
Mitchell not blow any coverages
Cortez look confident
Dri look like he can take over as punt returner, kick returner, or both
Villanueva show he can be a real backup at OT because they may be screwed otherwise
Diffenbach or Finney shows they can be a backup G

I want to see at least 1 play from Dupree that shows me he can be great. I don't care if he makes some mental errors. I just want to see at least 1 play where he embarrasses a backup OT like he wasn't even there.

I'd also like to see Mike Wallace drop a ball because he hears footsteps.

I have a love-hate relationship with the pre-season. So happy for Steeler football is back, but watching Landry Jones **** blocks my excitement. Plus, "meaningless" games are just that. I hold my breath that no serious injuries occur. Play ball!
