Didn't get to watch the game until late last night, so wanted to reserve comment until I actually saw it. After reading this prior to watching the game, imagine my surprise to see L.J. Fort in there on several passing downs during the very first defensive series of the game. According to Pro Football Reference L.J. Fort had 27 snaps (44.3%), Vince Williams had 34 snaps (55.7%) and Jon Bostic had 34 snaps (55.7%). Seems like a fairly frequent rotation that started on the first series and lasted through the remainder of the game.
I think the coaches and the team deserve a lot of credit. For this win and four in a row. Had they take the attitude at 1-2-1 like most of this board that the season was lost at that point and there was no way they would amount to anything they could have easily tanked. I think the coaches may have done their best job to date keeping the team winning in spite of a truck load of distractions. It also seems as if the players and the number of new coaches on the staff have forged a much smoother working relationship, something that usually takes time.
