Game Balls, Game Goats & FU's........@ Ratbirds

I could not participate in the game thread and I wondered how the nation reacted to the ravens #1 offensive weapon, The defensive pass interference play that they seem to have remarkable success on.

The game thread is long, so what I did was searched for the term "BullShit" and I found it......

Not really a goat, but I sure wish the Steelers would stop blitzing safeties, its the most ineffective safety/corner blitz in the league

Especially when the sum-***** is coming from his spot 7+ yards down the field. Jesus, when they blitz like that it’s the damn stupidest thing to see. A nitpick, to be sure, but an annoying one nonetheless.

Agreed, that and using way to much Williams and Bostic together on obvious passing situations

Dobbs may have the play of the game...The Ravens had us backed up 2nd and long and Dobbs throws a bullet to JuJu. That was a tough pass in a tight window in a pressure situation. Very impressive.

Was not impressed by Burnett at all

The coaching was too conservative at times especially at first and the pooch punt was stupid. Other than that cant complain too much.

Wasn't that a 3rd down?

Man, that is some funny stuff.

They nailed it though

Watch Ben come in after a few plays and torch our defense. I will lose my ****

Ben will milk it for awhile and come back in and shred the D

Drama queen. He'll sit out a play then come back like nothing ever happened

Now when this fake comes back in he will a 90 yard TD pass on that bad arm..

Ben will be back in 2 plays

It wasn't his arm, he got the wind knocked out of him, and he had to sit out at least one play. Of course coming from keyboard warriors, they probably have no idea what it's like getting the wind knocked out of him.
The drama queen **** is getting old. Been made no mention of his finger or his elbow earlier

The Juju drop before halftime changed the game. We are on our way to blowing the Rats out and that drop had us right in field goal range with a strong chance to make it 7.

The Dobbs pass is another play that changed the course of the game. That play was a monster for us to get us out from the end zone.

Defensively Burnett looked like **** in the middle. Edmunds needs to learn how to turn his head to look for the ball.

We got gashed somewhat with runs to the right. This is the same play Jax killed us with during the playoffs last year.

Dobbs game ball for making a play no one saw coming which changed the momentum back to the Steelers.
Burns game ball he did not play.

Goats for sure the officiating, Ravens kicks ball no flag and did not reset play clock as it was at 8 seconds.

Official stops play to make sure Raven left game. injury, did not reset play clock at 8 seconds.

Official no call on our last kick off for block in the back as official was standing right at play.

Didn't get to watch the game until late last night, so wanted to reserve comment until I actually saw it. After reading this prior to watching the game, imagine my surprise to see L.J. Fort in there on several passing downs during the very first defensive series of the game. According to Pro Football Reference L.J. Fort had 27 snaps (44.3%), Vince Williams had 34 snaps (55.7%) and Jon Bostic had 34 snaps (55.7%). Seems like a fairly frequent rotation that started on the first series and lasted through the remainder of the game.

I think the coaches and the team deserve a lot of credit. For this win and four in a row. Had they take the attitude at 1-2-1 like most of this board that the season was lost at that point and there was no way they would amount to anything they could have easily tanked. I think the coaches may have done their best job to date keeping the team winning in spite of a truck load of distractions. It also seems as if the players and the number of new coaches on the staff have forged a much smoother working relationship, something that usually takes time.

Fort was in practically from the middle of the 3rd quarter till the end. At least so it seemed
